For all of those who scoffed cynically at the prospect of finding true love in a reality TV type scenario, just take a gander at Art Green and Matilda Rice.

Green, who makes a habit of doting on his lady love via his social media accounts, shared a very romantic, very marital looking photo of the pair leaving Ellerslie Racecourse on Tuesday (local time) after a day of Melbourne Cup celebrations.

The original Bachelor captioned the image: "Such a great day at the races with this amazing girl."

Just to clarify, the 6 month anniversary is since the show finished airing on TV (it ended in beginning of May) and filming ended March 7th so it is 8 months later since filming ended that Art and Matty are together.

Love these two!! And yes... the look in Art's eyes says it all

They spent the first three months of their relationship in hiding, sneaking stolen moments together away from any prying eyes.

In May, Art Green officially picked Matilda Rice as the winner of The Bachelor NZ, but rumours continued to swirl that is was all a sham; a show for the cameras and women's mags, while really - the rumour mill insisted - Green was back with his ex-girlfriend.

But six months on, the pair are still very much together







This week alone, the pair have been photographed at two events, including Melbourne Cup Day at Ellerslie and the Spectre premiere last night.

And if that's not enough to convince you, surely this is. The look in Art's eyes says it all.
