Hosier was basically a "fantasy" pick for a night of music.  Since they appeared recently on the Grammys they would be far too big compared to the acts the franchise generally uses.  I would, however, like to hear an Irish performer instead them flying in a band from the US like they did last season.

I definitely agree that if there's a musical guest it won't be Hozier. Love that song but not appropriate at all. It would be nice if they have someone local though.

It really is one of the most popular songs on the radio right now - at least in Vancouver. In any case it is stuck in my head and I'm going to hear the song on that date whether Hozier is there or not Sophie I saw on twitter a musical group of young guys called Taken were filming at Dublin Castle yesterday. Have you seen anything locally?

hmm so according to this pic it looks like kaitlyn was wearing this long black coat yesterday -- it prolly got cold as the night wore on.... she looks pretty in the coat

K seems pretty dressed up but maybe that's just her black coat & she's bundling up?

This outfit below matches what evo described - cardigan (or is it a mini-coat??hmm) and white top though not easy to see the pendant right now with the scarf K's wearing. but more than likely this photo is from april 5/sunday and therefore a day before nick's 1-1 date??

First off, regarding the pic of Kait and the girls in the last pic.  That was actually from the day before and not from the date with Nick.  When she was with Nick, she wore a white shirt.  Secondly, we can't find anything to confirm that the pic with Nick in the jean shirt actually was taken in Dublin.  Right now with all the sleuthing I have done.  All the places that I have seen have a dark interior including the tables and benches/chairs.  The walls are all dark and usually contain dark wall panneling as well so IMO, that pic of Nick ISN"T from Dublin and their date. If someone else can find where that pic was taken....I'd love to see it as I have thrown in the towel on that. All eyes saw in a dream last night were the dark bars/pubs/clubs. I saw them all and whoever said that Dublin was full of pubs wasn't kidding. LOL.

yup. I was looking for a long, long time. They all look like stereotypical Irish pubs. (Which I adore, and which is I am now realizing where the stereotype comes from.)

Thanks for clarifying Auntie Love -- I did mention those points you emphasized about timing and outfits in my post ^^ but maybe I should have been more clear about them?

the lack of sideburn indicates that the photo is likely taken recently - I don't think we've seen him with a fitbit anywhere yet.

^ good point about the Fitbit.  Because we haven't seen him wearing it before IMO the pic was taken after a run.  He ran track in college and a fan took a pic of him running the morning of ATFR last season.

That, however, doesn't help with the location or time (past or present).

Emusha, they usually change to dressier outfits for the night time portion of the date, as can be seen with Kaitlyn in the top picture. Second picture was from the day before the 1 on 1.

AL , the drinking game on episode 6 will be every time they mention the word "pub." At least you will be able to recognize any pub by name when the SCs come out.
