I think Chris is a lot more socially normal vs socially awkward Ames. I like them both, but don't see them as similar.

IA, Doc Chris has endearing qualities and I look forward to getting to know him better.  He gets more spotlight in NYC next week with his Aladdin date.  Can't wait to see his "moves".

I think Dr C is being careful. He has a book of business to look after, that I'm sure he is working on growing, as all self employed people do. You want your clients to have a level of trust in your professional abilities. Acting like an idiot is a turn off for clients. So I think he's just being a little more reserved due to the nature of his business. JMHO

ITA on that, GA. TN is a pretty conservative state so being on the show is a fine line for him.

me too :cutesmile!: :cutesmile!: can't wait for the NYC date -- Dr. C is actually very confident and can totally carry on a show I just think he also is ok revealing his very soft and sweet sides -- he's so multidimensional
I think he's a lot less "nerdy" and intellectual compared to Ames -- but that he has the intellect to back it all up
I love how comfortable he seems pushing himself beyond his comfort zone

uhhmmm ok let me stop gushing about my first tv boyfriend... *ahem ahem*.

Ben H imho is an outgoing fun thoughtful, well rounded and great guy -- I think he looks like Josh a bit but I don't see him similar in personality...I think Ben H is "softer" and seems to exude a LOT of emotional intelligence...  I think Josh is a sweetheart and has a very big heart too but Josh is more like a jock and hangs around guys vs. being interested in tuning into women's emotional sensibilities
Ben is romantic and sweet and intellectual and has many different layers while Josh is a bit more simple in his personality JMHO
then there's Jared...this season of guys is the gift that keeps on giving too bad they're not showing all this goodness to us instead ruining it with fake edit/cliffhanger drama

ETA: Great point GA! that actually makes a lot of sense in terms of how he's on this show -- I do think he's playing it safe and I think he has a bit more edge than we're seeing...partly cos of how comfortable he is taking risks ...

Doc Chris is an enigma to me.  He comes across both shy and confident, funny and serious, manly and childlike, professional and fun,  religious and sexy . . . and then admits on national TV he doesn't get laid often.  Some lucky lady needs to help this poor guy out!  

It's all good that he is circumspect, choosy.

That's why I adore him so much and picked him as a first TV boyfriend cos he is that interesting!! and I suspect he is a complete package... some very lucky girl will snatch him up :Nod: excited for us to keep learning about him layer by layer like the onion Ashley Slater described

He is definitely marriage material and there is some lucky lady out there who is his love match.  

My dentist, who I've used all my life (still drive home for appointments), is retiring.  Is 8-10 hours depending on traffic too long a trip to make for Dr. Chris?   I mean an hour trip home to the dentist and visiting with family while there seems reasonable a couple times a year.  Think everyone would think I'd lost my marbles if I became one of Dr. Chris' patients?  Maybe I could do that and visit StuckinSC all at the same time!

I bet he's going to have no shortage of female patients after this season and that's just counting this board.

I think I'll probably find someone closer to where I live to use, but after seeing Dr. Cupcake, I think I'm going to have to reevaluate my requirements for a new dentist and it will have to include adorable personality, funny, cute, etc.!
