They stopped following each other on instagram recently and she posted this quote which IMO someone wouldn't post if she decided to stay with a guy who is being labeled (unjustly in my mind) as an abuser.

As a side note ... I don't buy her explanation that she favorites everyone's tweets to acknowledge them and so that the person who tweeted it knows that she read it. What is that doing besides encouraging cyber bullying. There are some tweets she hasn't favorited so why favorite a tweet that calls Ryan all types of mean names. Just my opinion but I don't believe in an eye for an eye and I feel like she's doing it to get back at him. Her doing that is prob the main reason I no longer think they stayed together.

Unfortunately i believe you are right. Even if they stayed married, they are no longer together and announced it at the reunion show. JMO, but they had a lot of "baggage" to overcome. The unfollowing was the biggest clue and the favoring the mean tweet about Ryan is just ridiculous. I bet the reunion show was volatile.

Editing played a big part as far as viewers opinions. Still think it was mean and very telling for Jess to favor tweets that were negative towards Ryan. I bet they are both over it, but now have to "relive' everything on TV. The families also get to see it for the first time. Yikes, it will be a rough few weeks.

On a positive note, I am sure Ryan and Sean were partying in LA and are over it and glad to be single. JMO.

Jessica is not a victim, she is not blameless. But the moment a man shows you that he doesn't respect you, by belittling you, always has an aggressive tone and stance and tells you 'go read a book' because you don't deserve his understanding... you walk away. No need to drag this kind of treatment for weeks, months, years. Jessica can find someone if she matures enough, but I wouldn't wish De Nino on any of your daughters.

I am positive that we aren't seeing the whole picture. On ANY side.
I am positive that the editing shifted the view of these people.
I was going to list off the folks who look bad after this editing...and I don't think ANY of them come off unscathed. But some look FAR worse. Imagine that happening to your family. - again . my heart breaks for them. You couldn't pay me to go on this show - even if I were a nun on my best behavior.

How long will it take the public to forgive and forget. Davina will be the spoiled brat for a long while. Ryan D. has been branded not only a hothead but an abuser. Ryan R. a wimpy, momma's boy who could care less if his wife is safe upon going out of town for a trip. Sean can't handle his personal life and is easily over-whelmed and not insightful. Jess is passive-aggressive and will play the victim instead of speaking up as needed. And Jaclyn is judgmental and sexually distractable. (and even looking back on last season - most of them weren't painted at one point or another in a bad light too.)

And not only does this reflect on them (personally and business-wise)...but on their families as well. - Looked at that way, my heart DOES break for them.

I agree with Regal GG. This season's editing, the re-enactments, and participant's recapping. Just this is not a documentary but I thnk this season has gone too far. If, and that's a big IF, Ryan really responded the way he did, I would consider that emotional abuse. Abuse whether mental, emotional or physical is damaging. No credit for not hitting. I think the production company and the network are truly hurting the participants and their families in a manner that is unnecessary. I think I read that next season they will have a different group of experts because they will be in Atlanta. Perhaps they will have a different group of experts because those who participated in the last two seasons want nothing to do with the show after this season's editing. I hope that all 6 participants read these entries that show them not everyone buys into The Breakfast Club stereotypes: 1 is a B word, 1 is an emasculator, 1 is a crying mess, 1 is a bully, 1 is neurotic, and 1 is a mama's boy. Each one is a multi-dimensional person who has been edited to look like a cartoon version. sad, just sad.

I read somewhere that the experts in season 2 and 3 are the same. When they moved the station from FYI to AE, they also changed the producers. This new producers are over editing and creating drama. They need to address this before next season. IMO

I might be in the minority here but I don't think the editing is all that bad. They have to show drama and like it or not Ryan and Jess knew when they were fighting AND filming, it was probably going to be aired. I am sure the couples who are not together have moved on and just have to wait until the season is over before they "talk."

I am sure most viewers are not looking at each participant as one dimensional. We all have different facets to our personality. Even Ryan R. is admitting on SM that he made mistakes and did not treat Jac very well at times. He knows it will change and tells everyone to tune in. I am sure we will see the other couples in a more positive light too. Not sure how it will end, but I bet TPTB will keep the suspense going right to the bitter end. They have a show to make after all. I actually think it will be very interesting to watch and listen to what each has to say at the 6 month reunion show.

I am enjoying the show, and happy they have one successful couple. I don't view the others as failures, but as couples who simply could not make it work and realized they were not right for one another.

I don't think the editing is doing anyone any favors, but the fact remains that they said these things and acted this way. It's not edited or out of context PI's that are the problem. We see Ryan yelling at Jess that he doesn't care what she says or to go read a book. We see Jess say go f*ck yourself. That's not edited in. If they didn't want their behavior to damage their public image they shouldn't have acted that way on tv.

Everyone has their own needs and non-negotiables in relationships and we all see things differently. Jess is passive aggressive and her poor communication would drive me nuts. But if a guy ever talked to me or treated me the way Ryan does Jess...well, I'd have left already. Full stop. I guess not being berated and dismissed and aggressively yelled at are my non-negotiables. And we've seen him act like this toward her at least twice in a span of 3 weeks.

I can't speak for others...but for me, it's not what is edited IN, but what is edited OUT (what leads up to a situation, what is not shown that might point out that someone is making up/egging on/exaggerating/not dropping/harping on/etc).

Also, it's pretty clear by watching certain background elements/dress/times of day/etc that things are shown out of order, backwards, even on different days - and yet edited to look like one continuous conversation.  In this way, the producers are manipulating the audience's opinions of who are the victims and who are the villains.  And that is simply not fair CONSIDERING that (when it all comes down to it) these are REAL people who have to go on from this "experiment".  

TELL me that Ryan D.'s life (and the lives of his family) isn't (aren't) going to be VASTLY different after this - and not in a good way.  He has become someone that (at least by SM standards) people are bashing and dismissing as practically a wife-abuser.  (Just using Ryan as an example - but the others are dealing with their own *crap.)  It's not like these are actors playing characters..these are real lives that are being affected.  In THAT, I am so aggravated what the editing and producers' decisions are doing to these people.  The 6 signed up to get married - not racked over the world's coals.
