I also would prefer to see Nick and Kaitlyn date on their own and not under the control and/or influence of TPTB.  As long as Nick goes into this knowing that he may not like the outcome as he has been to the rodeo before--same with Kaitlyn.  Hopefully, he is having fun with it.  Regardless of the outcome, I hope both Nick and Kaitlyn are happy with it and feel it is a win-win for both of them.

Seems like he knows what he wants and is willing to pursue her.  Just hoping he doesn't get hurt again.  But like you say, we wanted Kait as "ette and I don't blame Nick for going for it.   Someone say Kick?

i cant see him being the next lead for all reasons in the world. He can supposedly make 250K on his own.. why would he be interested in Fleiss's cheap money? . A poster knowing him in person also said he is not interested in entertainment career either. . I guess i am wearing my already, but i believe he is on the show for one and only purpose : Kaitlyn. Did i mention im channeling my inner romantic-self?

I know that him being the next bachelor lead may not be great because of getting Fleissed but hey, I think he deserves his own 25 women fighting over him if he is let go by TWO bachelorettes.  :shocked!:

But I would loved to see him be on the other side and not just fighting with other guys for one women.  :Nod: If he ever did decide to be the lead if it doesn't work out with Kaitlyn he will be in it for the love    anyway and knows how this show works!    

Unless there is a standout lead among Kaitlyn's guys that overshadows Nick, I can see them wooing Nick if he is not F1.   Because he is so real and genuine, he may just be what I need to love The Bachelor show again!!  

Either way, hoping he gets his special someone! *wishful thinking*

the thing is, my jumping heart couldnt take another full season of 50shadesofNick anymore :P. I know i just can enjoy watching him regardless the outcome, this time around. He did get his worst on Meandi's IMO. Only up up up from here. .Wishful thinking?

for the time being im using my cray mind in figuring out the chosen girl for the hawt Art *wink2 to AAL*

ETA. i thought at first, out of all Kait's guys that have been discovered, only Clint who could be on-par with Nick in career and being a smart cookie. eventhough lets be honest, Nicky Poo is way cuter than Clint . Clint being gone now...could means Nick's stake is higher or Kait is not really into a unique smart man. It could go either way!

I was surprised while reading the comments on RS's blog, 99% despised Nick. Saying he was a fame whore, etc. I thought people may mellow by now. That's why I don't think he will be The Bachelor…..too many dislike him.

I don't know if that's representative of the average viewer, Nutty. Nick fans know that RS can't stand him so may not want the abuse they'd get from defending him. I don't think he'll be asked to be TB though unless there's a real turnaround on Kaitlyn's. I don't even want him to be on this show because I don't trust TPTB and wish he'd just stay in Chicago and find love away from the show.

I don't think Nick wanted Kaitlyn to be the 'ette as per some tweets that were sleuthed, and the vid, "selfishly Britt".

She got the gig, so he's now going after her. I think that was PlanB. I'd much rather see this type of scenario rather than Shawntel or ChrisB coming back on the show who clearly had no intentions of falling in love.

As far as being one who wants fame, Nick went back to his normal life post 'ette. He never used his appearance on the show as a walking billboard to further his career.  Unlike some who are selling scarves, diet pills, or any other product on SM to keep their face out there in hopes that their notoriety makes them a ton of cash as their sole means of income.

I think if the feelings are mutual, this will be Nicks turn to shine. If he is a contestant and remains on the show, IMO he'll be just fine. What goes around comes around!
