Sean and Kacie have also met before Sean's went on his show. She joined right from the start and became the 26th contestant, though. IIRC the editors didnt hide the fact that they have met before, as it was implied on their convo.

maybe it will be happening with Kaitnick too??

i just hope they wont talk with cryptic words all season long in the name of secrecy..

bromance-wise, maybe he could do with this season's JJ ? (JJ just lost Clint, his bro) . 2 JJs in Nick life wouldnt hurt i guess .

I think the difference with Kacie/Sean was that it was one-sided. This seems to be a mutual attraction, and I think that if they reveal that Kaitlyn/Nick had met before and had liked each other, people will be like "well, why did she become the Bachelorette then? Why not just date Nick?" That's why I feel like, despite whatever really happened, they will play it as either a) they haven't met before or b) they met, Nick couldn't stop thinking about her but Kaitlyn didn't know about his crush until then.

Not going to lie, I am SO excited to see Nick back on my screen this summer! I just really hope that he's not the villain AGAIN this season. Does anyone know how viewers and contestants reacted to Mary coming back on Byron's season?

I loved Byron's season and was happy that Mary came back. She had a quiet maturity about her and their chemistry was awesome. Really sad they could not make it (but they sure tried!).

I kind of recall that there was a scene with Byron and Mary each laying down on pool side chairs (maybe on group date )and she was sort of feeling sad about the drama happening with her return. Byron helped convince her to stay.

But, I don't recall the other women on Byron's season being really over the top angry like they seem to be when it happens in more recent seasons. The women on Byron's season were not happy for sure but they had to deal with TWO women returning on a group date mid way through shooting. Eeek.

And, if Byron asked for more women, clearly he was not really feeling it with the contestants. Maybe there was no real front runner yet who thought she had it in the bag when Mary came back.

i also cant see them revealing the acquaintance pre-show -if any- either, esp. if they expect Nick goes far.

im curious to see how the edit will play out . I hope he is not just only a cameo. and if he has a great shot to be the F1 i hope they give him a great edit and show us their wuv story . Here is to hoping!

Yeah, I don't think Nick would have done the show unless he was told by Kaitlyn/producers that he had a real shot with her. Some of the other people who have come back (Shawntel, Chris) have only done so because they were promoting something or they wanted to be on TV. Nick doesn't seem to have those same motivations, so I think he must have had a reason to be confident about his potential with Kaitlyn. I would be really surprised if he doesn't make it until at least the FS dates.

i for one was rooting for Kacie to get together with Sean.. TPTB had granted my wish . Alas, we know how that one turned out. .

IMO the second round never worked for any contestant : Kacie, Shawntel, Chris Bukowkow , who else?....of course we have had Byron's F1... but it was 11 yrs ago...leads me to think that one was an exception.
