I never really paid attention to him when he was on screen but seems he might have had a good chance to be F2 if Nick wasn't around. IMO.
He was so sweet in his goodbye speech only caring about Kaitlyn. Shame it didn't work out for him in BIP but hopefully he will find his one true love.

I adore sweet, sweet Jared. He will make BiP much more watchable.
I hope he finds his love, he deserves so much more than Kaitlyn, I hope he stays true to that wonderful sweetness.
He and cupcake were truly my favorite this year.

IMO that's close in a lot of regards. Bachelorettes seem to pick someone they like as a friend (though not as a lover) to take far into the process (could be F2 through F4). It's someone they can "play lovers" with without becoming emotionally conflicted over the one they really are falling in love with. For DeAnna IMO that was Jason; Ali had Chris L; Andi had Chris S; Ashley had Dino; Kaitlyn had Jared. Unfortunately I think Jared may have mistaken her comfort with him for an attraction that wasn't really there in the first place.
Such a great guy but I agree, Jared was never going to be her final 1. He knows now after watching. Can't wait to see him at the MTA. Classy, classy guy!

I think without the dramatic duo, Jared could've had a shot. Makes me think back to Des, with Chris being what she needed. I really liked the Kaitlyn we say with Jared, they had fun and natural chemistry and also seemed like friends. Who knows what it could've developed into with more time off screen.

to Jared for being such a sweet, kind, together guy. Someone will be very lucky to end up with him someday. I was crying along with Kaitlyn when both he and Cupcake left. Two real gentlemen and sweethearts. They both grabbed my heart.

So nice to have a classy, good looking, sweet guy on the show. He was my favorite all season and I'm not sure why he wasn't in the mix for lead. I still think he would have been f3 but probably better for him in the long run to leave before the FDs. Looking forward to seeing him on BIP. I wonder if he'll be on GMA?
