Do the TPTB even like Mickey (I sure do). They edited his first kiss with Ashley to make it look like she rejected him. That was dumb. His edit was somewhat dull and I had a feeling he had more to him than shown. Why can't these editors get the basic stuff right?

IA. More Mickey please and less Ryan. I think if there had been a stronger mutual attraction between Ash and Mickey, we would have seen more of his personality; I'm sure he has one. I just am afraid that the way that Fleiss thinks, he won't consider anybody who hasn't been highlighted throughout the show to a greater degree for the next lead.

Ben and Britt are probably casually dating. He has to start somewhere and I think after the show, he was ready. Whether it turns into more than that, only time with tell. Same thing with Jackie and Ames. I hope all of them are happy and dating and having a blast in real life. They all deserve it.

And very so happy for Ashley and JP too.

It's a great feeling for all fans of this show, no matter who their favorite guy is. jmo

I agree with this. After watching Ben's HTD, I was even more convinced that he just wasn't ready to settle down now. If you haven't been able to become emotionally involved with women after a terrible loss like the death of a parent, then the first time you feel something for anyone is probably not the time to get engaged. At least the barriers are down and Ben can now allow himself to feel and move forward with his life.

As far as RS, I said here yesterday that he has been pointedly hinting in his blogs for the last two weeks that he had additional information which would confirm that JP is FI. I think he was trying to get some additional verification and was holding back until he was sure. I don't see him taking any chances this season after being wrong about F1 the last two seasons. I didn't initially understand why he would not put it out there, but now I sense that he was just being cautious and waiting for more proof.

Chris L was edited almost the exact same way as Ben – and yet he hooked up with Peyton just as airing of that season was wrapping. We see highly edited and manipulated versions of these people. I would hate to offer knowledge as to who they really are – the two are often polar opposites. Ben may or may not be ready for engagement, but if he’s got a girl and he’s happy with that girl, I couldn’t be happier for him. And here’s hoping Ash and JP can make a go of it.
