When it comes to scandal stuff doesn't RS prefer to put it out there that a story's coming out but he doesn't want to be the one breaking the actual story? That's what he did with Laurel and also gossip about some of the women on Brad's season. I guess he could've changed his policy or he could just be telling people a story's coming out next week. It still feels like it's too early in the tabloid news cycle for that. But, I guess you never know.

By the way I assumed Ashley S's tweets about the tabloid stuff were in reference to the new In Touch story that was negative about JP and Ashley H. The one that said he'd dump her because she's insecure and pathetic

This was my assumption also considering the tabloids for this week are all out now.

I really don't think Laney is the ex that JP talked about. He broke up with that woman well over a year ago (and despite her "breaking his heart", I don't have the impression that there was any bitterness on either side, and they're still on good terms), and I think that he dated Laney since then, and maybe as recently as a few months before he left to do the show. It sounds like she wasn't that interested in him (idiot), and they parted ways (probably NOT on good terms), and then all of a sudden, he becomes the most sought after heartthrob in the country, and she wants everyone to know that she passed on him first. It's the sort of ego feeding move I'd expect from somebody like her (or like I assume her to be). She is probably looking for attention/publicity, so decided to spill some "secrets" of their relationship.

That's my take anyway, if this is what RS is talking about.

Don't think there is trouble in paradise at all. Emily stopped doing vblogs after her first 1 on 1 probably because this is when they started arguing. JP and Ben have consistently doing them. So whoever Ash is with I strongly feel they are still together.

I can only speak for myself but... if Ben is F1 they did a complete disservice to him and Ash this season and also us (the fans). Ben was no where to be seen with Ashley until the episode 4 orphanage date and no one can argue with that. We have never seen their first kiss, we have never seen Ben comfort her on the Roast date (when her insecurities came to the forefront) and we have never seen Ben's reaction to Bentley. CH literally told us that on Ben's HTD they had a blast together in the market however, TPTB felt it more important to show Ben's path of healing instead of his time with Ashley. The post show behavior of the two aside. Never has an F1 been hidden until episode 4. I'm not so crazy to assume that the story and edit has been pointing to JP as F1 am I? LOL

It's actually a normal edit for this show. There's always someone who brings the drama into it early on. Every season there's one. This time there was one who also was someone the lead really really liked. I think they went too far with this one but if you watched Byron's season it was Jane who started out as the frontrunner but went a little crazy, Jesse's it was Trish, Jillian's it was Wes and there was the David Good/Juan man code stuff, Ali's it was the wrestler guy with Frank to take over from him, etc etc. The ones who end up being the f1 are around but not always featured as much as the others. Ben may be a little more hidden than most but there was the Bentley stuff and making JP the frontrunner right after he left. I also believe that Ben really stood out at the orphanage date so they decided to wait to feature him.

If it's Ben, there is plenty to see why but agree there could have been a lot more. Even if he's f2 I don't know why they didn't show more because don't they want the f2 appear to be the frontrunner?

She wasn't seen flying anywhere. She retweeted a tweet from NY1 (local news station) about the weather:

Whut the whut?! RT @NY1weather: Weather Update: At 2pm it was: 96 at Central Park (feels like 109!), 93 at LaGuardia (feels like 102)

Also people, she lives in New York. She wouldn't have to go anywhere to do a tabloid interview, nor would a tabloid bother to fly her out.

I was just going to check ABC to see if they have more videos and noticed the poll question asking which guy will Ashley send home next week. Constantine's the favorite to go at 52% but JP & Ben are tied at 24% each. Maybe people wouldn't be so shocked if Ashley didn't pick JP.

Bravo! You said what needed to be said! Things have been getting out of hand here and it's time for someone to stand up for everyone having the right to think what they wish and make up their own minds. If some believe they saw a love story between JP and Ashley and went with the honest feeling, then that is their right and it in no way should be ridiculed or insulted. It has become all about one person being right and not about everyone's right to think for themselves, like who they like, pick who they want and have an opinion.

I am going to join you in going back to obscurity, because I have had my fill of some of the comments here. This is not life and death, it's just a tv show.
