I have a question for anyone and everyone that could anwser it. Does Chris Harrison like to give away who the F1 is in every season? If he does then we should be able to choose who the F1 is then from the " 5 people to watch" that he puts out in tv guide every season correct?

IA we can't trust the edit but I trust the lead and F2 post-show. All of the recent ones have told us exactly what's up and were pretty much completely honest. Off the top of my head: Jill talking about Chi, Jake looking miserable, anytime Ali did anything, Brad's blogs, etc. etc. etc.

Now I'm not saying Mike Fleiss has gotten soft in his old age, but what IF (and its a big IF) he and the executive producers decided that their "messing" for wont of a better word with the edit is what has contributed in a large part to the break up of some of these couples. Personally, I wouldn't believe that Fleiss would change up the edit, he loves drama, but it is entirely possible that this season his editing process is completely different.

Gulbrit...that's what I am trying to say...we do not live in MF's mind...it is a real possiblity the edit this season is totally different and all here will question that fact....so...embracing a spoiler based on past edits is questionable!

They did things in brad last season that has not been done before that is what i was talking about but never look at a tessa season as being part of last season. You could be right though but things were very new and abit different last season.

And while MF is a horrible, misogynistic man, he seems to really love his female leads. Creepy, I know. :shock:

Super agree! Because we come from different backgrounds and culture (speaking for myself), we question & analyze edit differently. That is the beauty of this forum. And because it is not Science (i'm being repetitive) every show, every season may vary. Too many variables. Our opinions on different things therefore may differ, too. And because we are not discussing face to face. Our tone and style of writing may be misinterpreted.

One classic example is, how can my borrowing the phrase, "just sayin" be mocking you, Coastal? Forgive me, search my heart even, i wasn't sarcastic by using that phrase. Please read my post again. It seems the points i wanted addressed was missed because you were distracted by that phrase.

didn't you say it was the first of it's kind - I was just pointing out it wasn't. That wasn't the only season we saw this edit -that's the season I used as an example without going all the way back to Andrew Firestone.

Last season was very Tessa vs. Bevin. Brad even used the same word to describe his connection with Chantal that Andy used to describe his connection with Bevin - electric. Tessa and Em were babysteps, let's take this slow, whereas Bevin and Chantal were emotional, whiney, wear their hearts on their sleeves, hot, hot, hot chemistry and just a little bit of trouble makers.

Comparing to this season (if we can translate Bach to 'Ette) Ben has been the babysteps, don't want to drop the l-bomb, am I ready for this vs. JP's hot in your face chemistry, emotional guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. Not saying Ash can't pick JP, just that I see the similarities.
