Super agree! Because we come from different backgrounds and culture (speaking for myself), we question & analyze edit differently. That is the beauty of this forum. And because it is not Science (i'm being repetitive) every show, every season may vary. Too many variables. Our opinions on different things therefore may differ, too. And because we are not discussing face to face. Our tone and style of writing may be misinterpreted.
One classic example is, how can my borrowing the phrase, "just sayin" be mocking you, Coastal? Forgive me, search my heart even, i wasn't sarcastic by using that phrase. Please read my post again. It seems the points i wanted addressed was missed because you were distracted by that phrase.
Cari, I highlighted the three words, "too many variables", because I think it sums up why trying to pigeon hole every season into a previously done edit doesn't work. First, the producers have to see who the lead actually picks. If they pick someone who can not be easily "hidden" without making the finished show far less interesting, and there is really nobody else in the cast who makes it far who they can get much "drama" out of, they are not going to shoot themselves in the foot by creating a dull show, just in order to hide the F1 in the traditional ways they have in the past.
And I know it's been said before, but men and women think differently, and therefore, the way the Bachelors and Bachelorettes deal with the "physical" vs "emotional" connections cannot be assumed to match up perfectly each season.
BINGO, BINGO and did I say BINGO!

ABC has been bad for many seasons - I left after Andy and never went back. It's toxic there. I don't do TWOP. I do survivor sucks and they're ripping on this season, Ash and the guys.

LOL I so agree with this
I mostly lurk, but I find this place quite tame in comparison to some other forums I visit
It is. I find it better than the other Bachelor/ette boards, as well. At least most posters on this board don't tear apart Ashley. The ABC boards and TWOP are the worst for that.

Have we ever had an F1 who was in the "five to watch"? Senior moments, CH is a company man so much of what he says goes in one ear and out the other. LOL.
One of the things that pointed to Chris L being F1 was that Roberto was featured on the mainpage of the 'Ette sight - this was almost always an indication they weren't F1. It seems MF is getting craftier at changing patterns - which pattern could he be trying to break this season - or is he?

What I see folks here objecting to is the statement that someone who is a JP fan or thinks JP is the F1 is doing so ONLY because RS said so. This was said last year on FORT regarding Chantal fans as well.
I also see folks objecting to the fact that "everyone" just accepts or accepted RS's word and stopped sleuthing when nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, the opposite seems to be true.
Posters have analyzed screencaps, Love_Me repeatedly went back to "Fijiman" asking for more information only to get more confusing answers, every Tweet/Facebook sighting is posted, every video/press release/news article is poured over for a clue. This site has a whole section devoted to the ever lovely and talented ABC promo monkeys and editors.
Posters get passionate, upset, angry, etc for a lot of different reasons. I've found myself typing out a post and then thinking better of it. I've also found myself going "you ought not to have said that" once I hit send.
It may seem all too much for a reality TV show which has very little to do with reality, but it's what we do.

Let me 'splain...No, there is too much. Let me sum up. Buttercup is marry' Humperdinck in a little less than half an hour. So all we have to do is get in, break up the wedding, steal the princess, make our escape... after I kill Count Rugen.

Seriously! I'm writing a paper so the time goes by quicker.

Carrie: What an amazing observation!

The final 1 usually isn't in the "5 people to watch", except Shayne, I believe.
Chris gave it away when he asked everyone what they thought of Ben in his last blog. He's so transparent.
