A lot of Bach'ettes (Ali, Andi, Des, Blondie to name a few top of mind) have let their F2s go early.  I can't think of a Bach'ette that didn't choose anyone so there is no precedence for an F1... and perhaps you're right that she felt like she didn't have a choice in bringing them to the FRC, but letting someone get down on a knee???  Particularly if it's Nick and you know his history??   Sorry, I think there is always a choice.    And if she did it, I have no doubt she'd be crying in shame over a balcony.

Jen Schefft didn't pick either guy so it has happened before. She did let Jerry propose but didn't accept that night. He was supposed to hold onto the ring until later but by the ATFR show she was done.

It's possible that Kaitlyn will do the same thing but hopefully have a different outcome. I wonder if this season is a mash-up of Byron's & Jen's season?

If memory serves, Jen didn't let Jerry propose, but technically she did pick him; she definitely chose him over JP.  Just like Bob chose Estella. According to RS, K didn't choose either guy, walked away single and is not dating either one.

This is so sad , usually the day after RS posts his spoilers it's a lot more alive here. It makes me want him to be wrong, idc in what way, to make up for this kind of disappointment that a lot of us are feeling

Samesies!! I'm still surprised that they went to all this effort to film privately after they left the US only for it to be spoiled in such a disappointing way.

I'm gonna write it now ...

this is why TPTB wanted Kaitlyn all along ...

... it was in the "brewing" since Andi's ATFR season ...

when Nick opened the "pandora's box", talking about the topic that supposedly shouldn't be discussed on TV ... the sex that goes down in FS ...

... and the media ate it, every outlet, every interview (booked for Nick) it was about that ...it was sold gold!

So then they knew what to look up for in the next lead ...

... and they created the grounds for her to be able to "make gold" ...

they gave her the guy, they gave her the keys, they gave her time ...

it was "on the storyboard" all along, Kaitlyn didn't just jump at the first opportunity to sneak ...

it was offered to her.

Whether the guy is Nick, whether the guy is "the naked but running", I personally don't know for sure. But (no pun intended) that's the Kaitlyn I've seen on Bach19 (remember the lake date) ... and it wouldn't surprise me if TPTB were the original matchmakers (before this board ever played the game) for Nick&Kaitlyn to meet (or at least face-time) prior to the show.

I remember the birthday celebration for Nick when he had no BD ... it was somewhere around Bach premier with "our favourite" from TPTB...  I should have known better.

Bring over from the episode thread, the thought of emusha and myself about the season preview, just hope to hear more of your opinions.

1. My heart breaks for Kaitlyn although we are yet to see the whole thing
2. They give Nick the Villian Edit, as usual, no surprise and I dont think he cares
3. From a few quick shots, K&N look to have VERY STRONG connection

4. I think the edit leads us to think it's Nick who had sex with K before FS, but I think it is not him (although RS said so). 5. I don't know why, got no proof, just my gut tells me that guy is Dr. C. Didn't Dr. C got the first kiss of the season? I think he is exactly the go get the girl type of guy. And after seeing she was still so unsure about their relationship after sex, he could have left on his own. that's when he cried hard.

6. I think after the explosive reveal, it's Ben H, Shawn and Nick who chose to stay and stood by Kait. But she felt bad about her action and rejected Shawn, as well as Nick.

This is what I think about this season.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Joe Bailey, Jared Haibon, and Chris Strandburg. I think Chris was actually eliminated on whatever date he had, but not 100% sure. However, Joe, Jared, and Chris were definitely eliminated this episode.

also totally makes sense of his crying scene and she did the mesnick right?

p.s. i think they put in the nick 'don't make out with the girl i like before me' as foreshadowing cos someone DOES go all the way.... mindblown

^^ If right that Joe,Jared and Chris leave that ep could be some walk out vs being eliminated depending on how all,this happens.

Maybe there is,no F4 because literally there weren't 4 guys who would stay on at that point.

I'm shocked she even got 2 to stay other than Nick. They were probably coerced by tptb.

Or Kaitlyn ended up feeling like she didn't have chemistry with those three as compared to her F3?  I don't think they walked out, and all of the Dr. Chris crying stuff looks like he did get eliminated on a date.  Like her saying "what is wrong with me" is basically her saying that Dr. Chris is such a great guy, but she just isn't in love with him and feels really bad/emotional about it (ala Des/Drew).  Then, she realizes she has to get rid of the other two for the same reason.

I just have a feeling that the guys at the end didn't walk.  All of the man-tears don't scream leaving on their own to me.

It could be anyone and this is all to just drum up interest to get people to watch. On the other hand, it's easiest for me to believe it was Nick.

Assuming Shawn or Chris aren't the F1 - I think both are in the running for next Bach, so why muddy their reputation or edit with this? If it was one of them I believe that TPTB would not promote it this way or this early.

If Shawn or Dr. Chris are F1 - why make it a major plot point? They could have just not said anything and shown a love story like they've done with the numerous other leads who I'm sure have had sex with contestants before, during, and after the FSD. It only makes sense to me if they are throwing her under the bus because she picks nobody or she picked the 'hated' Nick.

Finally, pay-back on Nick for last season is just too delicious for TPTB to pass up. He gives this earnest lecture about making love, then comes on this season and gets it on with Kaitlyn right out of the gate. Purely speaking of editing and promotion, of course TPTB would call out that hypocrisy in a big way. Fleiss is too basic not to jump at that, and jump with glee.

They didn't just throw this in there, they made about half of their season preview about this. The season is now about this and it will define Kaitlyn in a lot of ways. Right or wrong, that's how this will play in the public and a whole lot of 'who did Kaitlyn sleep with' will be in the media for the next month or so. If they did that to her and it ends up being about something totally different - like having sex with CS last season, or talking about some ex-bf, or whatever else - I will be disgusted and will actually have to stop watching this show.

Yes to the whole post, especially the bolded. There is nothing tptb love more than sweet, sweet irony. 

Let's also not forget dressing Britt in white and Kait in black, having the castoff find love with a good, pure religious singer and the actual Ette sleep with the dastardly Nick and wind up alone. Holy moly. This really is the most dramatic season of the show evahh.
