The Bachelorette 11 - Screen Caps - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I still remember Jen from Andrew season at the mansion telling them "No, it is too soon". I think the people make the rose ceremony romantic not the setting personally, Chris's true love in his heart were all that mattered to me with Des. I didn't give a rip about Antigua. And no matter the setting, Matt didn't really want to marry Monkey, Jesse and DeAnna, again, nope not impressed, Jake and Vienna, please waste of a pretty island.

Give me a sincere proposal over the atmosphere any day.

Stuck - as usual, you make perfect sense. Because the FRC in recent times has been held in exotic locations, we have focused more on that and less on the proposal itself and its sincerity.

I would agree Stuck.  

The proposal is main event for me.  I could care less where it happens.  

I am a little concerned that depending on how this all plays out, that Nick's proposal will be more endearing than Shawn's.  Especially given Shawn's lack of ability to express complex, deep and emotional ideas in a very clear manner.  It will be a let down for me to see the carefully composed, adorable and likely epic proposal that Nick will give Kaitlyn only to see him turned down.  

How will Shawn follow that?  He doesn't strike me as being the best with eloquent expressions of love.  He may be sincere, but he doesn't seem to be able to string a full meaningful sentence together when nervous.  I am feeling a repeat of the slightly cheesy baseball comparison proposal we got last season.  And even that did not seem so bad because he did not have to follow Nick.  This year, Shawn really has his work cut out for him.

I think that maybe Kaitlyn should just let Shawn get his agonizing proposal out of the way, send him home and let Nick wax poetically about all the reasons why he loves her and their incredible future together.  

OP, I agree that I love Nick's eloquence, but if Shawn does love Kaitlyn and his words are said with sincerity they can be just as sweet, just different.  Shawn has said some lovely things to Kaitlyn this season before he got fixated on Nick and before Kaitlyn told him he was the one and he got confused and expected the season to just end.

Charlie was a good time guy and he didn't propose, but his words to Sarah when choosing her warmed my heart.  

I think sincerity can come in all forms and styles.

Honestly, it was the absolute love that Chris had along with his words that made my heart melt. And I fully expected Des to get bored and dump him in six months (yup, I was so wrong), but I still love, love, loved his proposal.

I will try to enjoy the proposal however it is, my problem is I will be saying she is a twit, why do either of you want her? Yes, I am a mean, mean person.

I think Kaitlyn's reaction at the FRC after she declines Nick's proposal will show how she really felt about Nick. IMO

Yup, I agree. If it's like Ashley's reaction when rejecting Ben, it will tell us that she just feels guilty and surprised at how much she hurt Nick. If it's like Jason's reaction when he rejected Molly, it will tell us that she really did love and care for him, but just felt more strongly about Shawn.

I also still think that they left filming on "good" terms (as good as they can be after you reject someone's proposal), but things went bad post-filming.

I am just hoping they don't edit either proposal. I honestly wouldn't put it past them to do it to Shawn's. I have a feeling both will be amazing otherwise. Nick has a way with words and I don't think Shawn is the meathead people paint him to be and both love K so both will be sincere and emotional IMO.

Anything will be better than last year's proposal IMO.

To me Shawn is the blond Josh, so I am expecting the same as last year, but then he can't under deliver and maybe I will be pleasantly surprised.

The best ending for me would be for them both to reject her. But that isn't going to happen. Oh well.

There was a tabloid report that the proposal was very beautiful and that both Shawn and Kaitlyn were crying/very emotional during it, so I guess that alone beats Chris's proposal where his tone was like "um, line? And, are we done yet?".

Are we able to ID these as the Bach mansion?
