The Bachelorette 11 - Screen Caps - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Well, honestly, we don't even know if Shawn's htd was shown out of order.

Kait is wearing different shoes and a different top from her beginning conversation with Shawn and then the top and shoes she actually meets his family in. So she could have talked with Shawn, had her htd with Nick, then HTD with Shawn, then mental breakdown #17.

Sometimes I think that TPTB may be editing this season to be shocking so despite all the red flags and problems they show with her and Shawn, people are shocked that she picks him.  I predict Nick gets a great edit all the way through LCDs and Shawn gets about the same bad edit he's been getting.  People will be shaking their heads wondering why she chose Shawn, hence the finale being described as shocking and a train wreck. Jmho

I agree. IMO "refreshing" was an atypical word that would suggest an atypical ending such as suggested in the initial spoiler but could also apply to the ending she knew had actually happened. But however and for whatever reason snapchat happened and that changed the trajectory - certainly of Kaitlyn's blogs and also her later interviews done after snapchat. I know I've posted this before but having seen the show edit through to what is essentially the last episode before the finale, I am even more suspicious than I was several weeks ago that snapchat was intentional by Kaitlyn - done in such a way that she could claim it was accidental and it would be impossible to prove that it wasn't. I think she did it to change things that she could see happening that she didn't want to happen; my gut keeps telling me that some of those things revolved around Nick.

Anyway, I think Kait lives in the moment with each dude and loves their attention and affection, but at the end of the day, I don't think she could have said goodbye to Shawn, no matter what she thought she was doing or planning to do. Jmo.

Haha, I really don't think it changes my theory at all but I'm still hearing "I really didn't mean to take this far to figure it out". That's what my CC is saying to. I am still thinking she says it to Nick when he asks "why did you let me propose? Why did you even let me join the show and keep me for so long, if you were going to dump me?"

Whatever she says matters little to me when she could have dumped him in Ireland and kept Jared for some heartbreak, spared Nick's family and not Ben's family when Ben didn't care that much for her anyway.

Oh well, it is what it is. Blame TPTB, blame Kaitlyn, blame Nick, it is just a mess any which way, imo. I guess I would have preferred when Nick teared up and told her he was scared to death in Ireland that she just let him go. At least she is not smiling in those scaps, that's some consolation. jmo

Yes CP, that is what I heard as well. She is seeking to justify why she kept both guys so far into the process. I am not sure why her journey requires both guys to propose however. That part is what really gets me.

This is the one thing that really makes me think Nick is up for TB.

Another explanation could be she really was in a quandary about both men until the very end and wanted to see which proposal felt the most right in her heart of hearts?

It's definitely more likely tptb put both K & N up to it. And I feel really bad for Kaitlyn if that is the case because she will get all the slack for it. And of course I will feel terrible for Nick, too.

The one thing that other Bach and ette's have said is to watch body language. Molly and Jason commented one time in a podcast that when the lead puts a pillow between them and the other contestant...that usually is an indication they're trying to put some distance there. At the same time, when a lead pulls a contestant into them to kiss that's typically an indication they're all in. So...someone explain to me (a K&S fan) why there's no pillow with Nick, a pillow with Shawn....but she literally grabbed Shawn's face and looked like she wanted to pull him inside of her.

I'm of the opinion that I think Kaitlyn was really confused at the HTD portion and had no clue what to do. I also think she maybe thought she might pick Nick and then when Shawn's date went so well she flipped the switch again.

I also thought we were shown HTD's in order...however upon review....she is shown in the car pulling up to the resort in the same shirt that she was in when she first saw Shawn, so I think we were maybe shown them out of order. Or...possibly she had some time with each of them before HTD's...Nick said ILY, Shawn didn't. Then she had Nick's HTD which went great, then Shawn's HTD and then afterwards he said ILY which left her royally confused.

I don't know....but I'm confused now. I still think she chose S and I think there's enough out there to back that up...but I'm not so sure it was quite the slam dunk I originally thought.

I don't think the pillow is a huge deal, even if it wasn't Shawn, she's physical with everyone! Why would she all of the sudden get non physical with someone? It probably just got caught up between them or who knows.

As for the htd order, like I posted above, she switched both her shoes and top for the htd portion with Shawn, so his date could have been second as originally shown. It really doesn't matter to me though, it doesn't change anything.

The thing is that she wore different outfits for both HTds so I do think that she might have had a little one on one time prior to meeting the families. I agree she was one confused girl at the end of this. I think at this point her convo with CH was in her head about Shawn's jealousy issues and their FD argument and she was leaning towards Nick but then Shawn's MTP went well as well as his ILY so she got confused again.

Yeah, it just seemed like she couldn't wait to get away after he said he loves her. I guess the producers made her, but there was something weird about it. If the man you're in love with says he loves you, your first thought shouldn't be someone else. Also in the ITM she was saying something like "I didn't expect this day to go so well" and when talking about Shawn saying ILY she said "I was so happy. I just care about Shawn so much and in that moment I just felt like... I don't know". How I saw it was that after Nick's date she felt like she was in love with him, but then the day with Shawn and his family was perfect and she ended up totally confused. I think she was telling the truth when she said she really doesn't know what to do.

She actually sighs and says "I don't want to say goodbye" and then they are tightly pulled together kissing again standing up so I'd strongly disagree on the bolded. I saw someone trying as hard as possible to say I love you too with her eyes and kisses even though she couldn't say it in words. And personally when someone is clutching another person so hard they are practically digging their fingers into their skin that's s a a pretty strong message.

I don't think it's cut and dry and I believe she's hugely emotionally conflicted, but even without having a favorite, for me that scene would have sealed who I thought was F1.
