I agree completely, if she really was so happy already and wanting to be Mrs. Shawn, then saying all she did so much with Nick's parents and especially with his mom is a bit heartless. But it is very Kaitlyn, in the moment she loved Nick's family.

To me it's irrelevant whether the crying after Shawn's date was first or second. Either way after seeing her with Shawn on that date vs Nick, to me the tears and emotional breakdown were because she wanted this to just be over and to be with they guy she was now certain about and to say I love you back but she knew she had to keep things going with the other, meet their family have them stay invested in her etc. Basically huge guilt if she had decided she wasn't picking Nick that she encouraged him pre-show, jumped him when he arrived and was making him be an F2 dumpee who doesn't see it coming again. I don't think it was easy for her to to that to him.

I have no doubt she really liked Nick, had some conflict and that because she's Kaitlyn the finale will be full of train wreck causing inappropriateness, but I do think the crying was genuine guilt over what she was doing to Nick. JMO.

IMO TPTB are choosing to tell us that they think K made the wrong choice in picking Shawn. It's her choice but they are showcasing all the drama for a reason. I like KaitBoo but all this new info from the former producer makes me wonder. It also puts some credence into those tabloids saying Shawn was having a hard time watching and saw K's feelings were not as strong for him as his were for her. I want to stay on the KaitBoo train but this is all a tad disheartening. I hope K has truly moved past her feelings for Nick and is concentrating to work on her relationship with Shawn. Hopefully, the ATFR is not a Mesnick

Albean, I agree that Kaitlyn knows Shawn is her F1 at this stage. I also think she'll have a very hard time hurting Nick & his family.

I honestly think Kaitlyn is a crier. She also cried saying that Shawn was hot in one of her talking heads And she said she spent all night crying in Dublin when nothing really bad was going on either. So really, who knows why she was crying.

I actually wondered if she cried in the hotel room with Nick. There was scene of her rubbing her eyes when she was saying "they're amazing, they're amazing" that made it seem like she teared up a bit.

I don't think the crying is a clear signal either way. It's just an exhausting process and I'm sure it's emotional whether you know what you're going to do or whether you don't.

After reading these posts saying essentially the same thing I do believe you are both right. In her blog for last Monday's episode Kaitlyn ended it with this:

If S was really her pick at this point, why is she protecting herself with a pillow when he tells her he loves her? I'm not a fan of anyone in particular, just an observer.

Agree! She imo was crying because she knew Shawn was her man and she would have to hurt Nick. She probably wanted to let Nick go and not propose but TPTB made her.

The following picture is very strange.  She left without a F2 gift.  On the table there were no snacks. Only a glass of wine that was hardly touch and a half glass of beer for Shawn. He did not even go with her to the door.  In the second picture by the time she gets to her room she is upset.

Hahaha! Can you say editing??!! Thank goodness kaitlyn spoiled her own season. Makes it easier this time.
