The Bachelorette 11 - Screen Caps - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

i don't remember clearly but their was a spoiler saying that Nick walks away early on and then comes back, Maybe the "meltdown" that was talked about in the abc article is Nick's ?

I can see Shawn back at the hotel stewing while he sits and waits for Nick to come home from their date. (Did he get a rose?) Did Shawn wait for Nick to return or did he show up unannounced while heavy making out was taking place...sees her state and her hair a mess and comes unglued. After his emotional pleas about their ILY, she gives him the reassurance she feels will make him feel secure. Now how that later translates to regretting the timing, I don't know. Does Shawn share their secret and all the guys declare they are ready to leave?

If it's Nick (sex guy)...I'm afraid the rest of season will be Shawn vs Nick with K an after thought. If so, for those that want to see a love story....hopefully you can catch one ATFR.

I may be confusing the different times when Shawn shows up at her room, but when she looks all mussed up and is straightening the sofa pillows, isn't she wearing the white top that she wore during the GD that Jared ended up getting special time with her? On her date with Nick, she wore black. Am I getting this right?

It's interesting that the folks who are unspoiled are talking about how much she seems to like Jared. Since they don't know about the spoiled F1, their attention doesn't automatically go to Shawn like mine does. Maybe Jared is sex-guy at the end of the GD, then Shawn comes to her room to see why Jared has been gone so long. (I'd really really like for it not to be Nick. Guy needs a break, imo.)

Not sure if this has been posted but it is interesting to note that Nick was shown as the last person to get a rose on this week's episode however, Nick actually received his rose before Shawn did.

Weirdest part is that when we see Nick walking to get his rose there are no other roses on the table next to Kaitlyn. We only see him walk up to the the mound and the screen cuts away. So a spliced screen? Reshoot? Edited/Photoshopped to have no roses on the table?

Really good catch AAL! It made total sense for the edit to have her pick Nick last but clearly that didn't happen.

Just looking at these pics makes me cold! It was RIDICULOUS that they kept those poor guys freezing out there for so long.

This is how I feel and is the reason I can't jump on a bandwagon that sex guy is Shawn. I don't see Kaitlyn connected to anyone else so why would she be concerned about having sex with her F1? Because of "other guys" she doesn't seem to give a rip about? That doesn't make sense, and it isn't compelling TV either. Having sex with someone and jeopardizing her relationship with the guy she is falling in love with? THAT'S compelling TV.

IMO there's most often a "grand bargain" between the lead (who is hired to be the central character in a TV show) and the producers - "you can pick who you want to as F1 but we will pick who the supporting cast is and where they finish in the elimination order". They didn't bring Nick on this season to have him get eliminated immediately so IMO Kaitlyn had no choice but to keep Nick around until the show was ready to have her eliminate him. IMO

Plus If Shawn was F1 and the other guys knew about it, what would make them hang around ? Nick till f2 (and the others at whatever position they finished at ?) It works vice versa.

Wasn't the scene that they showed in the next episode promo of Kaitlyn crying actually sleuthed to be from the end of the season ?

I know the spoiler makes things a moot point but I do think female leads have top 2 guys or so who they actually have feelings for which they continue to sus out throughout the season. I also do think she was more crying "i am not a bad person" etc. because she would be hurting the guys rather than worried that her f1 was going to leave -- if he was going to leave she would be saying what ali was crying about when frank left "i don't know if this will work for me anymore..." etc.

I caught that too but with everything else going on, I forgot about it. You can clearly see it when you watch it.

No problem, GA I always kind of wonder what the guys who were on the show think when they see the edited show?

It must be so surreal to watch someone edited to get the last rose and yet when filming that is not how it happened. I would think people would begin to question a lot of things once they see how editing can change the narrative and distort things. If it wasn't for this forum I would never have realized just how much things are not as they appear.

Three of the remaining guys may have wanted to walk when they found out about her pre-FS games! If this happened at F6 that would leave 3 standing; TPTB decided that FS take place instead of the F6-F4 episode (which is the same as Byron's season); then the HTD's are done for the F2 back in the US. Could also explain the extra week in Ireland as the sh*t hit the fan and they had to scramble to complete a show. Who knows whether the F3 guys was "bribed" to stay.
