But it looks like he comes to her, not her coming to him to tell him about her extracurricular activities, so that doesn't make sense to me.

I think Shawn goes to her to seek out some 1:1 time because this occurs in Dublin right after their 1:1 in SA and the week in Dublin Shawn only gets a group date.  He might be missing her and went to seek her out.  Which is why she has a suprised, but sneaky look on her face when he shows up.  Maybe they talk about the sex guy, maybe they don't.  But either way, after their conversation it appears that Kaitlyn is upset. It could be because she told him about sex guy and he got mad and left. But I think it was because it was the first time Kaitlyn realized that she held the other guys' hearts in her hands and her activities with sex guy might hurt them.
I would find it hard to believe that she talked with Shawn about the sex and he didn't tell the other guys.  If they found out that way, it would be a huge game changer for both Nick and Kaitlyn.  I can't see most of the other guys wanting to stay around.  So I don't think Kaitly told the guys that way.  It seems better to tell the guys one on one, maybe even when sending those that are not staying home.  That way she can keep a lid on the jar and tell each one when it makes the most sense.

Are we sure she didn't ask CH to call Shawn so that that they can have a private chat ?

^^The cameras were following him so it is a good point that production prompted the meeting, whether they urged Shawn to go to her room or Kaitlyn called him.

It is possible Shawn went to seek some answers because maybe Kaitlyn backed off a bit due to the "sex capade" since it seemed to upset her.  Shawn seeks out some answers, she tells him and the convo didn't go well perhaps.  All speculation.

But if Shawn was mad after learning about the pre FS sex, would he stay around to make F2? Unless TPTB promised him the next lead?

So sex with Nick happens after their 1:1 in Dublin. Few days later Shawn visits her and she feels guilty. I don't think she necessarily told Shawn on that night (there were still several guys left Shawn could've shared this info with) but just rather broke down about the guilt during an ITM. She said she only told the guys who she was serious about and the UsWeekly article said the other frontrunners were furious. I'm wondering when those conversations happened and who (other than Shawn) she revealed this to. We haven't seen enough of Ben H. to know if he was someone she was serious about but he is in the final 3. Could be that Kaitlyn walked away alone because her intended F1 decided to walk once she revealed this.

Not enough proof to convince me Nick is sex guy. It could be Jared, after their SQT (Cranberries concert. I think we speculated it's a group date in Dublin and Jared got the GD rose alone time?). I still think she had the talk in Utah. IMO, and I will probably change my mind any time. LOL.

Could be but I don't think she told Shawn immediately. I think she waited till closer to the end.
