Elan is a more general producer now, more story producer than handler. He hasn't been assigned to a specific contestant for a few seasons now.

^Pretty sure just the last handful get specific ones, HTD to end. The producers are always around though and may spend time with specific contestants.

Who was RS expecting to get the role?

RS said it was Britt for months. Then Kaitlyn. Then it was between both.  Maybe both Britt and Kaitlyn will be part of the show
