I'm not really in favor of this because Nick is just putting himself up for more criticism. I think he & Kaitlyn could hit it off but don't trust Fleiss et al.

I can't believe after the beating he took on Andi's season, Nick is back. What in the world? 

This show is ridiculous and is becoming more and more scripted each season. It's like these are real people who are becoming actors portraying real people and likely themselves don't understand what they're doing while in the Bach cult bubble. They're all in love with each other, getting ready to be engaged every 2 months, on and on. It'll be interesting to watch but it's so fake there are no words.

I really don't think Nick cares one iota about criticism or being hated by random Bachelorette viewers. I kind of love that about him. So why not do it again, if he thinks Kaitlyn's worth it? Go get her, Nick!

^^ I'm cheering too. I guess it depends if you like Nick or not, but since I did a lot and I could imagine him and Kaitlyn hitting it off really well, I think it's pretty romantic - he's willing to get screwed over by TPTB again, be disliked by the guys again and perhaps get his heart crushed publicly again all to meet the girl because she's so cool - you go Nick. I don't get from him it's a chasing fame or attention thing (like Chris B showing up for Andi which was so random and weird).

I just hope that if Nick is F1 their post show interviews aren't inundated with questions about Andi

I'll admit- he's got a lot of ground to make up coming in at Ep 4- it's no wonder he was making out with her because he probably figures she's already made out with the top contenders at this point.

What we don't know is if he last past that first night or past this episode. Time will tell. I remember Kacie came on for Sean night one and he gave her a chance for the first couple of episodes, but determined she was not the one for him. Unless Kaitlyn is crazy attracted to Nick, he might stay through an episode, but then be gone. In the meantime, he'll shake the other guys up. Maybe none of the guys had a girlfriend that could be brought on the show so tptb thought they'd go this direction instead.

Maybe although I think they had this in mind ever since they decided to have 2 Bachelorettes. Like Bryon's season starting with 2 guys and then bringing back Mary & one other. This time it looks like just Nick. I'm wondering if they asked him knowing he was a vocal fan of Kaitlyn being the Bachelorette. I guess they'd consider it a first because he'd be the first guy to try it and actually stay for a while.

Nick and Kaitlyn both have strong personalities. I have no doubt they can deal with a MEandI issue or non-issue.

I feel like it's a different situation since we're already on episode 4. That means that half the season is already over and there are only about 11 other guys left. I can't imagine Kaitlyn pissing off all the other guys by letting him stay, only to kick him out the very next episode. Therefore, I would think that if the producers decided to bring him out now (as opposed to the first episode), they did so knowing that the attraction was mutual and his coming on would cause drama that would last for the remainder of the season. Also, I think that Kaitlyn and Nick's vague, cryptic tweets (Kaitlyn's L.I.P followed by Nick's L.I.T, for example) suggest that this has been in the works for a while. And, for them to make out the very day that he comes on (at least that's what RS thinks), I think that there must definitely be an attraction there. Besides Chris, no one has made out with someone they just met on the show.


This is all based off the theory that Nick WAS asked to stay, which RS doesn't even know; he's just basing that off his source seeing them making out. Maybe Kaitlyn's pulling a Chris Soules, and sending him off with a kiss. Since he's still tweeting and seems to have access to his phone, I don't know.
