None at all ... Plus, seems like they are trying to veer away from 'reality stars' this season unless they are above the d-list ... I think Jake ruined it for Bachelor/ette contestants!

Did Ash ever actually say it was on her bucket list of things to do? If so, then maybe she changed her mind, and just wants to get herself settled. 2011 is a big year for her, graduating from dental school, etc.

It was a rumor from a 'friend' that she went on the bachelor as a way to get on DWTS. I'm not sure that was ever a goal of hers at all. I never got how that story got legs. DWTS may choose someone who performs but why would they choose an actual dancer/choreographer? Makes no sense. I think her priorities may have changed. She's got to finish up her clinical hours, move to NYC and start a new and different life. Not sure how DWTS would fit into that even if asked. They totally passed on Ali and Roberto last year and that was a rumor about them too.

I wouldn't be surprised if she looked at it (DWTS) as a possible perq of being the Bachelorette, particularly if she didn't end up finding her forever guy. I think all that changed when she did, and I'd be shocked if she could bear to be away from JP for weeks, if not months on end now that they are finally able to be together.

And unlike Ali, I don't think Ashley really enjoyed the celebrity experience all that much anyway.

I read that she'd tried out for So You Think You Can Dance ... Isn't that where they found professional dancer Chelsea Hightower? I think Ashley is 'over qualified' to be on DWTS. She would catch more hell than she did over the Bentley stuff.

She is over qualified, but that hasn't stopped them in the past. Mya and Nicole were also over qualified, even more over qualified than Ashley is, and they still cast them. Although as far as celebrity status Ashley isn't on the same level with Mya and Nicole, just pointing out that it hasn't affected how they have cast in the past. But yes, Ashley would catch hell, but more for being the Bachelorette, I think, than anything else. The diehard DWTS fans despise the crossover from this franchise.
