When Brad visited the fam for HTD, the one thing her step father seemed to emphasize is that Ash finish her dental school program. I just don't see JP asking her to not do so. He may be more ready for kids than she, but would he expect her not to practice dentistry?? I don't think so. I really have no clear guess as to what the reason for her sister's dislike may be.

Maybe the sister's body full of tats was a complete turnoff to JP and he wasn't good at hiding that fact. Sorry, jmo, I'm not into tats all over the body like that. A couple here or there, fine, even though my b/f and I do not have any tats, but I find it repulsive to have your body covered in them. Don't even want to think what you tell your kids one day or how you look as a grandmother one day. I'm not knocking tats, just the over abundance of them on anyone is a turnoff to me personally.

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if JP was initially taken aback by seeing Ashley's sister, particularly if Ashley didn't mention to him how "different" they were. I don't think JP typically hangs out in crowds that are partial to a lot of ink, and certainly, I myself wouldn't have expected Ash's sister to be so apparently opposite of her in terms of dress and lifestyle choices.

After all this speculating, I'm dying to know what the deal is.

Isnt Chrystie 33 and Ashley is, what, 26? Chrystie has two children, I think, and lives in Potland. Does Ashley have a brother too?

Does anyone know what their parent's names are? I cannto remember hearing them introduced.

I just cannot remember of what her family consists scratch

If sister has two children and recently divorced, I'm not sure she's one Ashley should listen to on picking a husband. Doesn't look like her own record is very good.

Me Tarzan...You Jane! I get the feeling Ash is going to wear the pants in that family. :giggle: I think another poster summed it up best...JP will be one of those husbands where Ash does nothing wrong. :giggle:

Maybe because of the sister's mistakes the sister is warning Ashley not to jump into anything, but Ashley does not want to hear it because she is in love. Therefore, after meeting the F1, it is most likely when the sister becomes more vocal.

The white box that Brad brough in with him is Needams a local favorite. I have lived in Maine all my life and we are not all this crazy for a lack of a better term.... LOL. We are actually more reserved and love to have people over and flannel is a must if you live in Maine due to the winters here. I would not be surprised at all if the parents are very guarded due to what happened when Brad came the last time.
