Same thing can be said about quite a lot of them. Trista, Jake, Melissa and Sean all did DWTS, numerous willing BPad (sleaziest of all) cast members, celebrity cooking shows, endorsements (Sean - Hydroxycut

), all for money. Its what comes from "the hand that feeds them" for being on the show. Can't say I blame them for taking advantage of opportunities to make money when some appear to have ill-defined careers and these opportunities won't last forever.

ETA I so agree Mustang, however, one thing I do have to say is some of these people do have decent, honorable careers. They either don't know how to live within their means, don't want to or just desire 15 mins more of fame. And then again, some as you mentioned ...

And to mention misleading media - the TV commercial for "Boot Camp" makes it sound like Ryan found Trista in bed with another man. From Ryan above and an article from Trista it's clear they don't have any major problems - so Ryan's comments are taken out of context - probably talking about another couple.

I think Trista also loves being on TV. She gave a lot up to live in CO with Ryan, so I think he has to give her the chance to go have some fame time once in a while.

TPTB used to do that for her, but now that they aren't the only success story of the franchise, TPTB seems to have lost most of their interest in Trista and Ryan so she needs to get it elsewhere.

While Trista will never be my favorite (removing her vocal cords would help), I do admire that she gave up a lot and that she and Ryan have made a real marriage.
