My conspiracy theory   I think TPTB feeds it to him and sometimes they feed him the wrong info; hence he's been wrong a few times. Does anyone know how many he's gotten right?

I believe the show gives him the info too. RS always gets mega defensive when you post anything negative about the show.

Ok, I didn't want to hog the thread so I try to control myself with the number of posts I do, but if we need to get the numbers up,here goes.

Chris isn't going to win any awards for being articulate but he darn well better bring his A game to the proposal. Not his fault necessarily with the boatload of crazies TPTB threw in, but Whit has conducted herself with grace and dignity throughout with some of the nut jobs that were around, and always used the precious amount of time they had together to build their relationship-not whine,pout, complain etc. In the s\c from the MTP\LCD dates,she looks a little worn out.

I want a proposal with no mumbling, incomplete sentences, phrases that make no sense etc. A romantic,heartfelt, emotional proposal that will light up her face and make enduring this whole process worth it. I want to be crying when I watch the proposal. The time of having to keep up the pretense that all of the women he has left are great and he could see them as my wife,blah,blah,blah will be over. I want to hear him finally get to tell her,no holds barred how special she is,and that she is, was,and always will be the one for him.

I think there was a discussion up thread about when the Chris\Whit love story started. The wedding crash date was the first big moment. He seems a little shy by nature and I saw her bring out a side of him that he's always wished he could be- more outgoing. He RAN to get that rose for her and was absolutely giddy about asking her to accept the rose and so happy when she did.

Much smaller moment but I found the scene where she gave him the Templeton whiskey to be sweet and tender. He seem really touched that she knew his favorite, and saw what a thoughtful woman she is.

KB you don't have high expectations or anything! I hope Chris reads this thread and takes really good notes with what you said above. i have been thinking about what both of them will say and it has to be so much PRESSURE. I just remember after the wedding crashing date he was kind of blown away and at a loss for words but you could really see all the emotion in his face. That's what I want to see.....and heartfelt, romantic  and emotional and a tear or two ...with grace and dignity...and complete sentences.... without mumbling

I think as long as he truly speaks from his heart, he'll do fine. I'm a fan of the low-key approach, so flash mobs, surprise Jumbo-tron proposals and the like just make me roll my eyes.

The poor guy is already going to be doing it in front of millions of eyes! I'm sure he'll prepare something nice beforehand. I hope. *LOL*

I just took a quick peak at some of the other forums and I am better just staying here.  Reading about his other loves is not a happy place to me.  I sure hope Whitney and her family are not reading them.  But of course they know the outcome.  I hope they are at peace and head over heels happy.

We know he is capable of romantic gestures like the airplane message and love letters to Andi.   He seems to do well with the written word so I hope he has his speech draft in his pocket.  But generally the bended knee and the flash of the huge Neil Lane diamond will get his point across
