Have we had other occurrences of the F1 music this season or is that the only one? I don't really pay much attention to the music. Although that didn't sound like the exact version we usually hear. Perhaps it's still coming.

Exactly. I think it's weird some people say that Chris doesn't chase Whitney. He does, she just makes it easier to chase.

I think of it as ... she chased him, until he caught her.

I truly can see Chris and Whitney as two of the most mature people ever to come on this show. Yes, he can act a little goofy, but I really see them as two grown ups who are at a time in their lives where they know themselves, know what they want and are ready to make the necessary compromises to make it work. They just seem to compliment one another.

One thing I have to say about Whitney. She is turning into one of my all time favourites to ever come out of this show. Not because she is the most beautiful, or has the most compelling story, or is the funniest, but because in all my years watching this show, I have never seen a woman act as grown up as she is. She does not make a spectacle of herself in any way, shape or form. She is mature. She is smart. She is kind. She is thoughtful. She is successful and passionate about her career. She acts her age. She knows what she wants and she goes out and gets it...without apologies and with strength and grace and a maturity and elegance that is beyond refreshing on this train wreck of a show. I can understand why Chris may wonder if she is too good to be true and why she would want to go live on a farm in Arlington. If he manages to get the girl and make this work long term, he will really go up in my estimation...and I already find him to be one of my favourites. You go farmer and make that woman happy!

Sprite love your post and ITA. I think Chris is a very mature genuine lead and Whitney makes him an even better man because of the woman she is. Love them separately and even more together.

sprite -- I would bet that if they get together and marry, they will live close to where she works. He is such a guy that he will bend over backwards to make both of them happy. I agree that she chased Chris until he decided to pursue her. That is what makes me believe he will do whatever is necessary to let her work.

^^Sprite wonderful thoughts/post!  Whitney chased him until Chris caught her - that is a perfect sentiment.  

I have been rewatching some of their dates and the mural date is when I think they both really fell in love with each other and Chris caught Whitney.  A little twirl and F1 music at point 3.20.  This is the prelude to their FRC. IMO.  

He is leaning in and looking at her with such intensity. He is holding both her hands in his. Chris reassures her, "nothing about you is weird." This man is as serious as a heart attack about her. "It's who you are and I love that about you."

And then when he starts his ITM ... it's like he's about to start crying ... the level of emotions he feels for her is just so much. I honestly don't think that I have seen a bachelor this far gone AND it's reciprocated with Whitney!

He is just so serious and then just so delighted to show her the mural. I love this couple!!

I love how intently he is watching her and listening to every word she is saying. He is very protective of her which I find very sweet. I really do not see this with any of the others...the giddiness, the intensity, the protectiveness. Nope. Just Whitney.

ITA...love this date, love this couple. I can't imagine it being anyone but her. Doesn't mean he doesn't have feelings for Becca, it's just not the same. Final answer.

While I am on the Whitney bus and have been for ages, I do think that regardless of which lady he chooses, he would bend over backwards for her because he is so painfully aware of his own surroundings to the degree that he stated that it was a huge concern and insecurity for him.
