Agree about the Bach series and DWTS. I just wish that he could ride a wave that was a little more classy live Travis Stork or Jesse Palmer.

IA BA, but in some cases, they don't care. They'll take anything. Maybe the classier gigs don't want him. IDK By the sounds of what I read here, he isn't getting that much support from fans?

IMO he'll be back on the farm sooner than later.

True! The crazy thing is I personally found him to be a big fake in Andi's season and a lot of hot air with the guys. However, they way Fleiss tidied him up and packaged him, I fell for his "story." Plus his sweet mom and dad helped seal the deal. Darned those producers

I thought that Whitney was perfect for what he said he wanted out of life and once he left the bubble, he'd see things much more clearly just as Des did with her beautiful Chris Siegfried.
 
I thought that Soules' feelings for Becca were more about the chase for him. I just never in a million years thought that Becca would maintain any feeling for him in the real world and was just about the least likely in the cast to move to Iowa farm so I just had a hard time buying into them as a match.

I should of just stuck with my gut. Cause the oaf from Andi's season sure came back with a vengeance and seems to be here to stay. :Nod:

MVMom you have lots of company in being fooled by Chris. I wonder if he has any idea of how people perceive him now? I really hope he reads this forum so he knows how we feel. I still think his family must be embarrassed by his behavior. He portrayed himself as something he was not and clearly his goal was not for a wife and family. JMOAA.

So long as the Benjamin's roll his way, I don't think he gives a rats patootie what we think of him.

Rolly, IA. I hope he is on here. I hope he sees how he is being perceived. Since his tweet they day after the after the announcement of the break-up, the number of likes have decreased almost by half. Hers have doubled!

Oh my God!! We sure have been "taken to the cleaners." This guy cannot even string together an English sentence. JMO.

He obviously needs to work those "facets" out of his system before he can consider anything smacking of marriage.

Casual viewer last season, here... He should have picked Jade. IMO, she would have fit right in where he is at right now. I don't think he is horrid bad guy, tbh. He just lack emotional maturity. All he has done his whole life is what people wanted him to do(more specifically women). I am sure in a way it bothered him, but at the same time it meant he didn't have to think too hard for himself. The family dynamic was very obvious during the MTPs. A brother growing up would have done him good.
Small town Iowa farming is what he has done all his life. It's what was expected of him all his life. I doubt settling down was on his agenda. Now he gets a chance to get away from it all. If nothing else for a breather. I dunno, I don't see it as black and white.
It was very clear that it was not gonna work with either of his F3. I know people seem to really like Whitney here, but I dunno... I never really got it with her. She seemed sweet and mature, but that's it. Didn't see a whole lot of personality from her, nor do I think that she was emotionally invested in CHRIS either, really.
She came out of the show as she came into it... Half-way in-love with the idea of Chris/or love itself. That's it. The last thing I think is that she is a victim or that she is too heartbroken. She will be just fine. Hopefully she'll find a guy she is ACTUALLY into and who is ACTUALLY into her.

His whole "I can't find a wife in a small town" schtick never rang true to me, because in my experience in an agricultural area there are always lots of women (attractive, well-educated, diverse) who enjoy the farm lifestyle. The very well-to-do farmers in my family always had a big choice of girls to date. Their wives don't just hang out at the farm - there are trips into nearby cities for movies, lunches, etc, occasional shopping trips to NY and Dallas, beach vacations, lakehouses - they have a pretty nice lifestyle. I think there are plenty of great girls in Iowa who would've given him a chance, if he was serious and not a douche.

A person does truly get to learn how to cook on that show, however. As annoyed as I am with his fame grabbing, I can see the appeal of that one, which is an opportunity to actually learn something new and not just be fodder for drama.
