Me too! I liked JP even before RS came out and said he is F1.

I did too.JP was my number one guy from the very first night. You can just tell how they feel about each other. There's no way that is being made up.

Was I the only one that didn't notice any of the final 4 the first night? I was unspoiled for episode 1. :laughingoutlou

When did RS confirm it was JP? I've thought it was JP since episode 3 and I'm sure I would've had the same opinion without reading his spoilers.

What has worried me this season is it is so obvious with JP. That made me doubt more than anything. But I am team cupcake all the way so I hope this latest is true. :cc6:

That was what some were saying here yesterday - that it was good news and he wasn't doing a switch on F1. He may even have more information, but this was what he was holding back for the last two weeks. He kept saying that if he put it out there, then people would just remind him how he was wrong about Brad and Chantal having Thanksgiving in Palm Springs. I think he is gunshy after being wrong for the last two seasons. I didn't totally buy him saying that it was because of his mistake about Brad and Chantal. I believe now that he was just waiting for some additional confirmation before he came out publicly with the news about Ben and this girl.

I have said this before, but it bears repeating. RS is not the reason why I believe JP is F1. I reached that conclusion on my own. I spotted him in the very first episode, before I read any spoilers. I liked him the first moment I saw him and decided I would keep my eye on him. Not a hard thing to do, by the way.

However, once RS tweeted some big information, everyone got all up in arms. The Ben fans were sure he was going to switch his F1 again, like last season. The JP fans were hoping it was more proof that he is F1. That's the only reason why RS was again a factor here. Everyone was waiting to see what information he had. It is a relief that he found out about Ben and this girl. Many have suspected as much, given Ben's tweets recently. Now we know. I believe he is correct. However, I have always believed that JP was F1.

Sometimes I felt as though it wasn't being heard.

For everyone who still thinks it can't be JP because it's too obvious, try to imagine what other options the producers had for editing the show that would have been less obvious, and what that finished product would have looked like, and whether it would have gotten the kind of ratings that this show did. IOW, if they cut out much of the kissing/chemistry with JP, what exactly would we have been watching and why? Yes, I know some people still believe Ashley had this smoking hot connection with Ben, and it's all on the cutting room floor. But what if she just didn't? Do the producers then put together a boring show, where Ashley is shown to have no real chemistry with any of her final 4 guys, in the opinions of the majority of viewers, just for the sake of hiding the final outcome?

Same for me too. We all have a source this season and its name is Cupcake. Neither of them can shut up that they're happy, together and engaged.
