The dates were more real life than prior seasons. I just wish they wouldn't have wasted so much time on the Bentley stuff. 6 episodes...Geesh!! :giggle:

And something else that nobody's mentioned on any of these dates, is how much time is actually spent with Ashley vs on long breaks with the crew setting up or finagling with the shot, or pulling the people aside to give PIs and whatnot. Some of those dates may have taken hours and hours, but more due to production "issues" than because the couple was spending extra quality time together.

When Ashley and JP were sitting at the roller skating rink, I could clearly see on JP's watch that it was 10:30!!! I was stunned that they would start so early in the day, as they had already done a lot by that time. I am guessing they met up at 0830 hrs, so their date did turn out to be quite long. Thanks for a possible start time. I think it ended around 7:15-7:30 that night because while it is not dark out it is at dusk for sure. THe lights were on around the outside of the house. Sunset in NY on April 24th (don't know what date his HTD was on so I just picked something I though would be the earliest) was at 7:44.

I think I read somewhere, maybe the article that quoted the manager of the skating rink, that JP's HTD was on Easter Sunday, so maybe that had something to do with the timing of the date. Also, if his was the last date, maybe they were flying back to CA on a red eye that night and needed to leave.

very interesting. The media net photos for their date put the skating part around 1-ish, so I'm thinking that one or the other had the time/date stamp set to LA time. The time of their date was probably set around her flight schedule

JP's date was on Easter Sunday. The proprietor at the Hot Skates mentioned it in the article. Another reason why they may have started early so they could finish a little earlier than they usually do.

Someone looked on the time stamp of the pics from JP's and Ben's dates and they both started at the same time so Ben's was longer. I thought JP's watch showed 11:30 a.m. when she greeted him but it was fast. They went to his parent's house around 3 p.m. and she probably left around 6 or so. They cut out Ben & Ashley riding bikes to Sonoma to shop for their picnic and the actual picnic before it rained. Shopping was before noon with the winery tour afterward, the picnic was around 2 p.m. and they walked into his mom's at 7 so there was a lot of time together we didn't see.

Hey guys. Jillian's ATFR was not closed; I was there. And for those of you who are worried about the F2 looking heartbroken the way Reid did at the ATFR, never fear: Reid really was fine. I could tell he had feelings for Jillian, but he had already started to move on by the time of the show. They edited his answers to make him look like he was more upset than he actually was, in the name of good TV. I know, shocking, right? Bottom line is most of these people do just fine once they've exited the bubble, both personally and professionally (contra Jake Pavelka).

Jason's was closed because they filmed in unexpectantly early in December, and to save the shock of the big switcheroo. Ali's is the only one they have closed since I have been watching this (Palmer) where everything has gone according to plan. It seems obvious that they only reason they closed hers was that the secret had held and the spoilers were almost all "Roberto or no one" Ali did a fine job in interviews selling the fact that she likely walked away alone. They know MTA and ATFR are going to leak. Tells me they know they are out of surprises. If the f1 turns out to be Ben, they know it would leak in minutes. Makes me think that everyone already knows.

the media net photos show time the picture was taken by the photographer.
