I doubt TPTB would decide already on a Bachelor. I think it would almost be reckless without considering the possible impact the other guys would have on the viewers. Yes I think Josh is still in the running and he is probably better looking than all the guys on the show. **edited**..

Will Josh Murray Be Named the Next Bachelor 2016?
The Bachelorette 2015 with Kaitlyn Bristowe may have only kicked off a couple of days ago, but we’re already looking forward to the next season of The Bachelor in January 2016. Who’s going to be next to take the crown and make one lucky lady his fiancée? Names have been thrown around, and one is pretty familiar: Josh Murray.

According to Bach guru Reality Steve, Josh — who ended his engagement with Andi Dorfman earlier this year — is definitely a possibility. Supposedly, the title is his to lose.

“As long as Josh Murray stays single, I know he’s a guy they would want,” Steve said recently.

And Josh isn’t the only one ABC producers are considering at this point. In his post, Steve added that there are two guys from the current season (here and here) who are already showing Bachelor potential, although we suggest not clicking those links unless you want to be spoiled!

There’s always that chance Josh won’t be chosen based on the tradition that the lead is typically picked from the previous season of The Bachelorette. That would give guys who are currently competing for Kaitlyn an edge, although we can’t deny that Josh has always been a fan favorite!

We think Josh would make an awesome Bachelor if he’s chosen, but we’re definitely open to guys from Kaitlyn’s season. Fingers crossed we find out what’s up soon!

Typically , but not impossible , a few F1's have been brought back as lead. (Brad, Emily, JenS ) so I'm still hoping Josh gets it. imo he just has that "it" factor . Tall , dk, handsome, caring, great smile, athletic, charming, a guys guy and a ladies man, lights up a room, wants to settle down and have a family . I think he was cheated out of the happily ever after with Andi, I know he can find love off the screen no doubt., but selfish me wants to watch him on my TV screen and hopefully watch him fall in love with someone who wants the same things in life. ( maybe they'll get Becca to come back ) So I'll be hounding abc with tweets and I hope Josh's fans who would like to see him as the next bachelor will join me.

Wonder why he was in LA for less then 24 hours and he mentioned seeing Élan, I really think it was discussions with producers they may be talking to a few guys but I'm taking this as a possible sign
