I believe the Bachelorette started filming in March 2014. Josh became single again in January 2015. A ten month relationship isn't very long in the grand scheme of life. Break ups are hard in or out of the spotlight but we all move on to new relationships that are a better fit long term.

JMO in the past Josh has lived in the shadows of his younger brother's celebrity status. Since he appeared on the Bachelorette he has become well known for who he is as an individual. He has to be loving the attention he is getting independent from his sibling.
