I was referring to Chris doing DWTS to land a gig as a talk show host, become an actor or sell an upcoming book.  I hardly doubt his appearance on DWTS will impact the market value of corn or soy beans, unless of course they're organic

^FTR, he has no source about that. Just basing it off the many media rumors about it that are often right about the cast.

He did say that Chris has been in LA and is still in LA ,appearing on Ellen tomorrow and is more then likely there since the cast will be announced soon . I hope he is , actually I think he'll do well he seems to like to dance .

Unless Whit quit (still think she gave her notice) well then imo Becca would have to be F1 to make it work.

if he does it.. i hope he does better than sean!

Someone mentioned up the thread that if he does DWTS perhaps f1 (if Whitney) would spend long weekends in LA and sometimes be at home. This might jive with the new position we hear she has and would solve some of the issues that Sean and Catherine had- she wouldn't have quite as abrupt a change in her life. It will keep the relationship in the spotlight, though, and for that they will need to be strongly committed to making it work. Even coming to LA to spend weekends together they would find the time actually spent together to be short.... so much rehearsal.

IA and think that would be smart for Whitney to keep working if he does DWTS. It's got to be better than sitting around waiting for him to come home.

I agree! I just see Becca as F1 would if be easier to believe if he's doing DWTS.

Yes Litta, you're right. It definitely taught me some lesson - at least about TPTB (it ain't RFL) - I really got sucked in because of WORDS. And I should know better, because with words you can also lie - so never completely trust them.
With Chris this time is different. Just the same - Chris would not be my piece of "cake". [Probably because (as I mentioned too many times to be almost annoying to all of you) I prefer people who ain't so similar to me in the characteristics of my own that I'm not proud of.]
So in that regard, I wouldn't "wish to pair" him with neither Becca nor Whitney.
But (just like with Nick) because Whitney is so "sure" he is her perfect match (we don't see Becca being sure of it), the one she was looking for, I really do wish her to be happy and get this fairytale.

Also I'm wondering, why would TPTB play with their FAN. Whitney is their long time fan, watched every season, BELIEVES in this process, joined the show with the ONLY PURPOSE to meet The Bachelor (and to fall in love, but she was already in-love) ... why would they let her down?
Why not make it possible - so that you can show to the world that this process really WORKS?

But one big lesson learned is that TPTB doesn't give a **** about LOVE, they want and only seek entertainment. It's all business no matter how eloquently they wrap it up for us.

Thanky Mommy for pointing me to the narrative for the next episode ... but I still read it as "Whitney's career is a bigger issue than Becca's" - which I don't believe it is.

I remember last year Nick's career of a "salesman" was his "problem" in the sense that it was getting in the way of his "sincerity".
This year Whitney's career is again something "to worry the lead".
I'm wondering how the careers/jobs were played out in the seasons before?
Was F1 career mentioned as an obstacle?

Another thing. This time it's easier for me to "believe the words", because I think I can read "between the lines" since Chris is not very good in hiding when he is using TPTB script. So even a lie doesn't look like a lie - he's genuine in that.

Maybe Chris and his final 1 will both do dancing with the stars... A little healthy competition to start the relationship off right

The same could be said of Andi/TPTB coming up with Trust issue for Josh, or Chris/TPTB coming up with Iowa issue for Whitney, which has been addressed before with his friends.
Both F2s always have a an issue, so the lead seems to be hesitating, which I am sure they sometimes are!
