Right GA? I thought that was so sweet. I get dry mouth at night lately and can't be bothered to waddle out of bed for it. Putting hubby on water duty stat .

Tomorrow I embark on a trip to Guatemala for a cause that's near and dear to my heart. My trip to the DR with @healing_waters and @the_her_initiative in July left a lasting impact on my heart so I'm excited for the smiles and beautiful souls we get to meet this week as we see how the filtration systems make the water safe and the health and hygiene education empowers their lives. I'm sharing more about my experience and what I'm looking forward to most on the blog today at {www.DesireeHartsock.com}. Just $25 a month provides 25 people with safe and clean water. We're on to our second day here in Guatemala with @the_her_initiative and I couldn't be more thankful for these amazing women. Experiencing the areas that are impacted by the water filtration systems doesn't even compare to the impact the people have on us. The faith of a pastor who dug a well for 6 years before hitting water just for a @healing_waters filtration system to be put in place is enough to change our own perspective and encourage our faith. Today is another blessed day to share in life together. Stay tuned for more. Xoxo

I'm on my way home after another wonderful trip with @the_her_initiative to #Guatemala and as I look forward to my comfortable bed after a nice warm shower, I can't lose sight of these beautiful girls and their stories. Many lose the joy of being a child while they work in the sugar and coffee fields or take on the responsibility of a parent -like an 11 year old who cares for her three siblings. They don't have the same luxuries you and I may have like clean water and food for each meal or electricity and the ability to get proper medication. I can't wait to see how the new @healingwaters system impacts the lives of not only these girls but the entire community. Me too, stuck. What a great thing to do going into the holidays.

She has a nice blog up about Christmas. Her parents are flying in and looks like they're doing a joint Christmas with Chris's family. They did this for their first holiday season together in 2013 too.

I'd swear she's an angel. There is no other lead or contestant that I can compare her to. She's in a league of her own. Simply a truly humble wonderful caring person.

Des was by far my favorite Bachelorette, and Des/Chris are by far my favorite couple.

Gratitude looks good on everyone but on Des she just glows!
