The youtube has already been taken down due to copyright.
Kelly looks like she made her outfit on the plane.
Oh dear Tenley. That dress is OTT. Sometimes when relationships breakup, the female for some reason needs to go bare it all for some reason. That is just not her typical style.

Honestly, I said it a couple times last night, Kelly looks like she is wearing an old faded out sports bra and the skirt showed panty lines or spanx lines.
Tenley looked like she was wearing a Frederick's design. Either that or she was wearing the dress backwards.

It's interesting how this "cut out" type dress looks good (I think) on Sharleen but not great on Tenley. I think Sharleen always looks elegant.

Maybe it's because I still visualize Tenley as one of Disney Princesses.

I thought all those girl's outfits were really bad looking--including Charleen's. IMO, it looked like a grandma's dress that someone had cut out to show boobs. Just very weird.

That's true Rolly. I was thinking the same thing but didn't post it. Sharleen has a natural classy way about her. Tenley seems to always be trying.

Absolutely agree, beader. But andi's was by far the worse. Truly hideous in color, style and fit. I was shocked.beader wrote:I thought all those girl's outfits were really bad looking--including Charleen's. IMO, it looked like a grandma's dress that someone had cut out to show boobs. It is not just you. I liked Sean's women so much better. Sean's was actually the first season of Bachelor or Bachelorette I watched. If I had started with Chris, I may not still be watching.
I think the show doesn't know what to do with Chris. He seemed like an obvious choice, but he doesn't have a strong personality IMO so they had to ramp up the music, bring out the red carpet, and announce there was a virgin going to the fantasy suite. I mean, it's the Bachelor, but do they have to be so obvious?
I was looking forward to seeing Chris, but now I am worried a little, especially with the tent business - ie is Chris too easily tempted or does he even know what he wants? Why do I get the feeling that he would be okay with just about any woman? My hope lies with Alissa, Carly, Kelsey, or Mackenzie. I am convinced a good woman could define the relationship.

Maybe because he would? Seriously, he did seem like he hadn't met a single female in ages with the way he was checking everyone out. And during Andi's season he spent more time thinking up corny "romantic" gestures than actually getting to know her. I never bought that he was really in love with Andi. He just needs a wife like yesterday. Anyone half attractive will do, as long as they're willing to move to the farm.

The boy does have a polarizing effect on this forum.
Just speaking in a broad and generalized way (and not trying to "pinpoint" any particular posters), I'll just say this: If you are not terribly "gooey" about Chris going into the season, you probably won't change your opinions much by the end of it... regardless of how many charity functions he attends or cute children and puppies he rescues from burning buildings.
Sometimes the Bachelor or 'ette has that certain "something" about their personality that gets under your skin, since (through no fault of their own) they remind you of others (family members, acquaintances) who also get under your skin. With me, I tend to change my opinions of these leads at the drop of a hat.
The only "issue" I ever had with Sean is that he seems a trifle "spoiled" (probably never told "no" by Mommy and Daddy like the rest of us) and also... a bit cocky, but I got used to him over time and found him rather amusing. The fact that he chose Catherine, the least likely contestant I would expect him to favor, made him all the more interesting to me. I just wish he... and Juan and Chris... would just say "no" to requests of camera crews entering the shower with them.
And with this in mind, perhaps I should just be more objective about the silly shirtless situation. Some people are proud of their work. Others are proud of their comic book collections. Still others that classic Corvette they're restored after many long hours. These Bachelors want us to know how many hours the have spent lifting weights and we should all clap and applaud them accordingly. It means so much to the little boy who thought he was wimpy back in the day and has "come a long way".
Needless-to-say, I never could quite figure out Andi and Josh, but that is only because their lifestyles and interests are completely foreign to me. If I would meet them in person, I probably would run out of things to say since I have zero interest in professional sports (where Josh's "heart" is) and... whatever it is that Andi does. Yet they are fun to listen to in interviews since both talk so fast (much like Sean). Also I love turning off the volume and watching Josh's rubbery face in action.
I must say that Couples Therapy did wonders for ME in understanding Juan and Nikki. I think those two simply can't make up their minds as to what they want in life, being the opposite of Clare Bear. (I loooooooooove Clare Bear, even when she acts bats**t crazy. She is a "what you see is what you get" kind of gal.)
One repeating complaint I have read is that Chris is too "soft". Surprisingly that is what I like the most about him. He sort of reminds me of Jimmy Stewart or Gary Cooper in those old Frank Capra movies... the hick from the small town who is clueless what to do in the big city with all of these people who are more "sophisticated" than he is (and also more cynical). I guess some view Sean that way, but I personally consider Sean way too camera conscious and "aware of things" than Chris. Chris would be completely lost and clueless on Dancing With The Stars (which is likely the reason they wanted him).
I also wasn't bothered at all by the secret admirer letters last season. A few of us actually analyzed them on his thread (since they were carefully edited for the screen and altered by Andi's reading them) and discovered they were not THAT cheezy in screencap blow-ups.
Don't go by me though. I also bought DIAMONDS + HEARTS since I rather enjoyed Prince Siegfried's "aww shucks" way of expressing his feelings. Call it a weakness that I have yet to take the proper medication for.
In an oddball way, Chris also resembles Trista. They both have that same high pitch giggle when they are infatuated with somebody and feel they are "losing control". (Trista was also widely hated online for her babytalk, especially in scenes with Ryan. This is why so many favored her F2 Charlie. She acted more "adult" around him.) Also, in this first episode, I found his interaction with Kaitlyn eerily similar to Trista and Russ (her F3) in that their personalities are a bit too much alike for their comfort. I think they specifically cast a contestant or two who strongly resembles the lead so he/she can get over some "issues" regarding relationships in general. Neither Chris nor Kaitlyn are completely at ease in front of the cameras and tend to say and do stupid stuff, only Chris is trying sssssoooooo hard to suppress it.

We need to see more of her. On the fun/snark thread, I did comment a bit on what the editors are doing with her. She is very much "under the radar".
