American Idol 15 - Farewell Season - Discussion - *Spoilers*

The farewell season of American Idol premieres tonight. While I stopped watching the early episodes long ago, I plan to watch the whole thing this year since it's the final season. Rumors are the original judges will make an appearance at some point with lots of alums returning. I'm hoping their final season is the best one in many years. Fingers crossed. Who's joining me?

I forgot all about it. I do want to watch it. I stopped watching the last few seasons, but I was a die hard AI viewer. It should be fun, by the sounds of it.

Me!!! Auditions and Hollywood week are my favourite episodes anyway but I'll try to keep up this season.

I used to look forward to it every year but it's been such a clunker over the last several seasons I stopped watching until maybe the Top 10. They haven't produced much talent lately but I'm hoping their find a gem this season. I love Harry and Keith so they'll make it worth watching regardless.
Some of my favorite singers have come from this show; Adam Lambert, Daughtery, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson.

I'm in...this is hubby and I's show. We watch it together and have for several years now! I love Keith and Harry too to that makes it worth it no matter the contestants.

I stopped watching after Phillip Phillips won but will be watching just for a glimpse @ the former alums/judges. And yes auditions are always fun for laughs

I like how they're mostly focusing on good singers rather than humiliating the bad ones.

I forgot all about it but it's recording anyway so will watch. My dh lost interest a couple of seasons ago but did mostly watch with me. I think it's time for the show to be done so will probably get him to watch with me.
My favorite ever is still Chris Daughtry but there are a lot of others who didn't always go to the end who I liked over the seasons.

Sometimes not winning is better for their careers than being the Idol. ie: Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry, among others.

I thought it was a pretty good show tonight but I could have done without Kanye West at the end. I missed if the yodel girl went through or not - can someone pass on that info for me? TYIA
