I definitely agree with that.

In my opinion, the overall Ashley/JP storyline this season seems to have been overcoming obstacles. Why did they pick that? Because they see tons of obstacles for Ashley/JP in real life or because the only storyline they've got for Ashley/JP is how they deal with obstacles (because their connection is so obvious). I sure don't know. Of course that assumes JP is F1 but I'm having a hard time not believing he is at this point. I just don't see any other relationship that's anywhere near the level of theirs on the show. I just feel like this is playing out like a rom com where they're storyboarding in all these obstacles but there's going to be a happy ending (without knowing if it's a happy ever after).

I've always said I'll wait not for the FRC but ATFR. Right now my gut is telling me that if JP is F1 then he & Ashley are basically on the same page now about the show messing with your mind so they've almost started over after the show, they're tuning everything else out and focusing on each other and so far so good. It's just a vibe I get from Ashley's interviews and JP's vlog. But I have no evidence and this is just an opinion so I don't expect anybody to agree. Even if I'm right it doesn't mean this'll last forever and I know that.

Ha ha ha ha... this is going to all sound windy! Or just call me over-optimistic, but I'll give this team a better chance than some of the others.

Sometimes I think I am watching a marriage instructional. What I love about this season is that we get to see each problem solved with this whole "we are all that matters now" schtick... the whole I’m-only-on-my-high-when-I’m-with-you stuff.

The Whole Point of his jealousy issue in Taiwan, which he openly discussed with Roy on his hometown, was resolved by his talking to her about it. Jordan is wearing the same suit and blue shirt and probably saying these quote “clusters” together, but we hear them split before and after his talk with her:

“Watching Constantine go on a date, having Ben not come home from a date and then to watch Ashley kiss Ames and Lucas on that photo shoot. All not good things. Bad. Bad. Bad. And then we had our photo shoot…”
“I feel back on Cloud 9. Got the rose at the group date. Not gonna lie. It’s a great feeling. I can’t wait for her to meet the family.”

This basically replayed episode #2’s quote: “I came into tonight deflated and discouraged about not getting that one on one and losing the coin toss to Mickey, but now to have it excel to this level. I’m on Cloud 9.”

Does kinda belittle Benny’s “We’re making a connection. I’m just in- I’m on cloud 9, Man.”

Jordan has to WORK for his Cloud 9.

"Actions speak louder than words" is a quote by Bentley and we hear Ashley say it on the upcoming preview relating to Constantine (but shown over JP scenes to fool the unspoiled). I am curious to see if Constantine's edit will take a slight dip next week if she suddenly compares his exit to Bentley. So far, she has been praising him for his honesty, if questioning if he gets along better with “the boys”. Yet, there have some itty-bitty-red-flags here and there… all relating to Bentley:
1.) He was very quick to praise Bentley when he departed and hugged him goodbye (not knowing his true motives of course)
2.) This key line in episode #4: “Bentley’s leaving was an eye opener. Whatever connection they had was between them.”
3.) He was the first to bark after the Bentley-In-Hong Kong discussion. He also praised Mickey for leaving.

Ashley is doing everything possible to avoid the whole "Actions speak louder than words" motto...
Bentley (episode #2): Let’s not talk.
Ashley to Bentley (ep #6): So, you came all the way here because you couldn’t talk to me on the phone?

This is EXACTLY why she likes Jordan… and initially likes Constantine (thinking he is honest):
Jordan (episode #2): We got to talk

Note how Our Girl worries in Phuket... "I’m a little worried about JP. He’s seemed really stand-offish today. We haven’t had much time to talk."

She almost told Constantine about Bentley in Phuket, but didn’t. When she did with Jordan three episodes later, he said to her:

"I don’t want you to feel like you can’t tell me because you are afraid to or afraid I might judge or react in a way that’s, like… that will make you feel bad. I want you to tell me whatever is on your mind."

Of course he may eat those words from time to time, but you know they beamed them good and loud onscreen so BOTH watching will hear it.

Now, hopefully Ben's edit won't dip at all, but I have noticed "itty bitty red flags" with him a.k.a. Dino… I’m just hoping her angry cry-fest is just about letting him go or some carry-over drama with Chrystie and NOT on account of some ugly drama with Ben. Hate to see him leave this show on an acidic note…

Guess it is a good thing Jordan was NOT shown hugging Bentley on screen. Instead he just observed his exit VERY suspiciously; the only one in that scene with his shirt off. For some reason, those who hug him have to confront…

First Dino (“You do what your heart tells you.”), then Ben, Mickey, West and William hug him.
Well, West went out in style… in Phuket. Long exit scene though. Very looooong...
William, however, got a bumpy ride, after leaving her at the comedy roast to wander the streets sobbing. Reality Steve worried in his blog that a street hooker might pick him up.
Mickey’s departure was a pretty dramatic one.
Let’s just hope that the bro-buddies do well. Hate to see them smoked like salmon.

When Ashley told Ben “I did go through a hard time last week, I think more than people understand and I’m trying to get back on the horse”, he just replied “You’ll figure it out. You’re a smart girl.”

She tells Jordan in the preview on the beach, “I just need to figure it out.”

I wonder if Jordan will reply with a “No, WE need to figure it out”… now, that would be GREAT editing, I must say!

... I guess at this point, I should take my glasses off before I get too carried away...

Yes it was. My son and DIL had a tree come down onto power lines in their backyard. I had to spend 20 minutes with 10 women crammed in the women's bathroom at work, our designated shelter area.

Sorry...back on track. It will certainly help to know that Ashley's sister changed her mind while watching that episode air! Just like it helped to know Ames is with Jackie when watching him leave the show last night.

Yes, Target Field is sooooooo much better than the Metrodome! I will definitely be keeping well hydrated, although one downfall to that...I'll probably be spending more time in the restroom than watching the game!

I noticed that too. I felt like I was in TX today though. Got up to 118 today if you factor in the heat and humidity. Oh well, winter will be back soon enough.
