Episode 8 - 7/18 Hometown dates - Discussion - Spoilers

The sister may be a ***** and they may have issues between them but her comment about this guy not being right for her may play out. Sometimes an outsider can see something you don't. I am not going to judge the sisters intuition just yet. Afterall the premise is to bring them home to meet the family and get their opinion. And that is what happened.

The previews are misleading. All is well with Ashley and JP. I expect a proposal. Or even if it is Ben, same thing. Engaged. Will it last? Nope.

what is up with Ames' suit being tucked in the back?

Sadly, I agree. Last night we heard everyone, Ames, Connie, JP, Ben and Ash herself say that's it's important that their family approve of the sig other. And then the preview that the sis may not approve of her F1 choice?? And then the FRC VO that sounded like, I fell in love with this guy and no matter what anyone else thinks, I'm choosing him. (I know this isnt' what she said, it's the way it sounded to me).

so Anders, if it turns out that the family gives there blessing, you'll not think that there's trouble in paradise ?

I think it's important to look at the season's edit as a whole, and consider all the information they have given us. I'm not saying that the blessing or non-blessing has anything to do with the outcome, only that it's another piece in the puzzles of JPs edit that has included jealousy, impatience, competitiveness, and now a mom who doesn't want to see her son get his heart broken again, and a possible reluctance to propose. If all was puppies and rainbows in this relationship why are they continuing to focus on the negative with JP and not put all that BS behind at this point?? I just can't get over how they're throwing Ash and JP under the bus and continue to run them over.

and I leave open the possibility that sis is talking about her F2 guy and not her F1.

This has obviously been discussed but I'm on vaca and don't have time to read all the posts. Why do we think sis is talking about JP? Did she say his name or is it just speculating?

we don't know who sis is talking about - it's either JP or Ben, or both.
