Episode 8 - 7/18 Hometown dates - Discussion - Spoilers

I did not get attached to any outcome this season, which is a first for me.

The formula is is tight and secure. JP is the victor and the previews are rigged to show trouble in paradise. pffffffffffft. Ben's hometown date had the vibe of a wake!

Constantine emerged as my favorite man last night and my hope for the next Bachelor. However, you would have to marry the entire family and always live in Atlanta. There is no room for an independant life with a possibility to relocate or explore other possibilities. That is not so good. So Ryan it shall be.

My crystal ball shows a proposal and a relationship that will not make the long haul.

I have been bored this season but I am looking forward to Ashley and her sister's thunder! Whoo Hoo, we finally get some action. Very cool.

I believe that Ashley's sister tweeted after tonight's episode and said that it got much worse after Ashley's beyotch comment to her. Whether we actually get to see it is another matter.

They are guessing who is coming back next week. They don't really have a good idea at all. They don't think it is Ames's style.

Thanks for doing that, Bloomers. If this is indicative of the reaction of the general (unspoiled) viewing public, I'd say mission accomplished for the editors. I think rather than trying anymore to hide/deny the chemistry/connection with JP, and hoping to convince anybody that what she has with Ben comes anywhere close to that, they are now laying the groundwork for everyone to expect a shocking ending, and that she doesn't pick JP because of (take your pick) a supposed "fight" during FDs (that we know is really about Constantine), the family's disapproval of him (I suspect highly exaggerated), and all the foreshadowing that JP is going to get his heart broken again. I believe now we know their end game, and if they keep pushing this angle, the real shock for the average fan will be when she actually does choose JP.

That's well said! They know that sleuthers and others online know what's going on, but we are in the minority. The average fans don't know half of what we know and since they are the vast majority, this will work nicely for TPTB!

I think Ashley needs to wake up regarding JP
JP can't tell his mother he loves her yet tells his mother
he would get engaged but tells Ashley he doesn't see himself
getting engaged yet

Sorry I see player written all over this guy

In a way I hope Ashley doesn't pick Ben, I think he is too good for this reality drama
Don't sell your soul Ben it isn't worth it

One last word of advise, please Ben do not hook up with an undertaker
I don't think that will help you deal with your father's death any quicker

I'm starting to think that Constantine may be our dark horse after all after watching last night's show. I wonder when Ashley said Total package for me. Was she saying it in regards to Constantine or JP and who did she say it first? Also I noticed Constantine's HTD lasted into the night as did Ben's but Ames and JP had ended in the day. She brought wine for Constantine's family, flowers for ben but I didn't see her bring anything for Ames's family or JP's family or are my poor eyes playing tricks on me? But overall I loved all 4 HTD's. last night's episode was such a feel good episode that I'm a little worried about the FD's, and LCD's. I'm guessing it's JP the family or at least the sister will not approve of. hoping that if JP is f1 that ashley just says you know what? I know what's right for me and I'm going with my feelings. might be why we've had such an obvious edit with JP as maybe TPTB wanted to show her family and mainly her sister that Ashley was right in picking him. that is if JP is her F1 ( which I'm sure he is).

I didn't see her bring anything for JP's or Ames' family either. Maybe it just wasn't shown? I didn't notice both their dates ended in the day either.

I still feel like what we're seeing in the preview is mostly BS. At least I hope it is, because it looks awful.
