Episode 8 - 7/18 Hometown dates - Discussion - Spoilers

We know that Ashley's wearing the same top with JP as she does with when she's upset with her sister. We'll have to look back at what she said to him and to someone where she's on the sofa and see if we can figure out how they all tie in.

Ben got a haircut while home. I must say he looked very hot carrying Ashley after the pool. I guess we know why she called him sexy. I wonder if that's on the LCD? Seems like too much swimming otherwise.

I don't think I can get enough of Ashley's greeting with Ben. I must go find CC's little clip of it.

Umm Yes!! I also loved that she loves his fashion sense..so happy I am not alone in this. LOL

I've been over on the Fort reading on the unspoiled board to see how they were viewing things.
They loved Ames and were sorry to see him go. They thought Dino would go before Ames went.
They are tired of hearing JP talking about having his heart broken. By age 33, everyone else has too, and he needs to put on his big boy pants and go on.
Because he told his mother he didn't think he would get his heart broken broken, and told his brother he thought he was the best for her of all of the guys, and because his whole hometown was about broken hearts, they think it might be foreshadowing JP getting his heart broken at the FRC.
That is the way some of the unspoiled looked at it.
They are guessing who is coming back next week. They don't really have a good idea at all. They don't think it is Ames's style.

Hometown destinations sure have come a long way since Greg's pull down bed in his closet apartment during Jen's season. They had a commerical for new show called Pan Am. I kept waiting to see Jakes Cheesey face.

As Ashley looks at all four photos of the guys before the RC ceremony...

Tonight is going to be so hard
JP photo shown first: If it were up to me,
Moving over to Ames photo: I would take all four guys on more dates but…
Constantine: The truth is I need to start really figuring things out and make some tough decisions…
Ben: Time is running out but…
She touches JP’s photo: I’m in such a great place right now.
All photos but a slow pan out with JP’s strategically in the middle: I’m ready. I’m ready to find my husband…

I re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re watched the teaser and something happened for sure with JP

1. she asks him if he is ready to propose knowing what he knows about her now and his response is : no. not right now

2. she leaves their FD room quickly. She is already 3 steps away when he seems to come up. Then there is a flower petale that is falling from her dress. then black moment and then we see JP with his hand falling down and fixing ahead, unhappy with maybe water in his eyes. Something clearly happened there. It is possible that she tells him about her b****y sister and she is upset, he is upset to do not have the approval of her family and worried that she will reject him... she leaves the room upset..... but in the end it is nothing that dramatic as the end of their story.

3. the voice over is definitely about constantine and we even see his silhouette behind the bushes.

however we see only good things about Ben. We see lot of kisses and cuddles and a voice over saying each that they are falling in love but of course not sure if ashley's matches who with who.

another funny note: JP instead of saying Love word uses IT.....

so the downhill of JP is definitely there to see.

during the conversation at the table JP said that things became REAL between phuket and HK.... what happened between the 2 destination between them???

in the preview when JP and Ash are talking about the proposal, I think there was some splice and dice going and his answer was probably to another question, like would you be ready to get married right away, and he answered "am I ready to do it right now? no." - that really does'nt sound like an answer to her question "do you feel like you're going to know enough about me for us to potentially leave here engaged". Her face didn't look upset so I'm not to worried about how that scene was edited. And the evening part of her date was probably just her getting up to go change into something more comfortable

as usual they are required to say the same things again and again and again.

Anyone remember early on this season a statement from Ashley saying that her man had his heart broken, but he is a very genuine guy and he is in a very good place right now?

another relative in star says: he loves dark hair women and even if I cannot say if he is with her or not, he is in a very good place right now

Saying that he had his heart broken is a way to keep us on our toes for the finale. I mean look at all the HTD:

contantine: in love with the family
ames: gone
Ben: pressure on her shoulder that she is the 2nd girl to meet his mom and sister... nothing really affectionate except the welcome jump in his arms.... but a big PI about his father. Ashley happy that she could help ben during his journey to open up
JP: they could not keep touching and kissing. Clues about the song at the roller. ashley trying to reinsure his mom a lot by her eyes or even saying clearly: I am totally smitten with him and this is the first time she saying it out loud

So the producers are again using the same old same old. Now they must have prayed sooooo hard and put some candles everywhere when they saw the sister making a drama! They must have been in total heaven!!!

her last words are: I know my heart or something similar. I learned to trust my heart. So in her mind what her family think does not matter. She loves him. period.

not sure... JP's face does not look like a man waiting for his lady to come back

but again this can very be the same trick they use like emily and chantal when brad had this last conversation with them... they both look upset too
