Although I agree the guy in the screen capture is JP, I can almost believe Ryan would be at the FRC based on the preview when she said she woke up thinking it was going to be a great day, but then it was ruined.

That made me LOL, seriously. But, I don't think he'd be there in a suit. More likely scuba gear, popping up from the middle of the ocean. Or maybe covered in a fishing net, hiding out in one of those boats.

JP: Uh, Ashley, cupcake? I don't mean to stress you out on our big day or anything... but it looks like someone's in the water behind you..

In the 2nd cap, it looks like she may break into a smile in the next instant...

Is it possible these are two different suits? The grays look different.

I'm not even completely convinced it's a gray suit. There was a pic of JP walking down the street in New York, and one of his pants legs was one color, and the other pants leg was a different color. Lighting can play suck tricks, who knows what color the suits of the F2 really are.

IF and I mean IF it turns out that Ben is F1 and Ryan is at the FRC... this season will go down in history as the lamest edit and storyline in the history of the franchise and will and will put a few nails in it's coffin. Ben isn't just hidden, he's not even the radar of the average viewing public due to his lack of facetime on the show and basically no real chemistry between them. If he's F1, it would be there obviously but if its not being included in the edit, the ending will go over like a lead ballon for the majority. From what I've seen this season the only people that were noteworthy, good or bad, were Bentley, JP and Ryan ... with the rest only having minor roles. I personally couldn't care less who she picks, totally her perogative as to which guy floats her boat, but as a viewer I at least expect to watch a decently edited story where I feel like I got something out of the few months I invested into it.

IMO, this season is like no other. TPTB is actually showing us Ashley and JP's love story, the good (chemistry,communication,romance,honesty),the bad( insecurity,jealousy, doubts) and the ugly(Bentley drama). According to Ashley ..."it is a truthful and honest love story .

I thought last season's edit was wonky and terrible, but as sad as the love story turned out - and it is terrible sad to me - at least the edit did point almost to a " T " to what was going to occur and why which is what I kept saying over and over.
(When the edit is wonky and screwball, something is usually wrong somewhere with the love story and the relationship. Whats it? Watch for it in the real world down the road.)

Now this one is the worst edit of all of the seasons in the franchise that I have ever seen.

Everything points to F1 JP, but before you start jumping up and down with joy, something is just not right here in this edit, and I have been saying this as well from the word "go", with unbias, just like I did last season when it looked like it was supposed to be Chantal - and that was what RS said - and all she did was cry almost every episode - Brad was hot to trot after her, he gave worshipful glances to Emily, but he hardly touched her, and they couldn't communicate. Emily wasn't the typical F2, but she sure didn't look like F1 either.

So, look at this season, now....
Here we have F1 JP straight out of the limo in Emily's spot and in the F1 3rd Ep. date position; however, to someone who is not tangled up in the JP love affair and who actually listens to what Ashley had to say, she was so dazed from Bently at that time (3rd episode), she was NOT that into JP, pajamas or not! In fact, she said in was HONG KONG before she came out of her funk enough to get into JP. I think the producers had JP in place waiting on Ashley to get over all that other stuff...
It has been mentioned to me by one of our (brilliant) super-sleuths in PM that she thinks Ashley threatened to jump ship on them after the 3rd episode ( and JP), and I am inclined to agree.

Now let's look at poor F2 Ben. Why do I say "poor" F2 Ben? In the history of this franchise, there has NEVER been an F2 that was basically not put into place until the 4th episode. They have not given this F2 the respect as an F2 that he deserves. In fact, his F2 edit is so off ( starting at 4th episode) that I have gone back several times to make sure that the evidence is still pointing to F1 JP, and I AM NOT POINT TO ALL THE GOOEY LOVE STUFF. I don't look at that as I watched Chantal and Brad last season with all the hot physical stuff, and she didn't win!
Ben is simply not getting the respect an F2 deserves in this edit.
That is why you will see me take up for him when I ordinarily don't bother to jump in on a lot of stuff.

Anyway, this is the sorriest job of editing I have ever seen them do. I also am highly suspicious of what they are trying to tell us with this F1 edit.

For some of us, sleuthing the SCs and edits last season caused us to see Chantal as F2 and eventually Emily as F1. The edit was not wonky in anyway. It was straight forward classic. The reason it took longer to identify Emiily as F1 for me was it was between Emily and Shawntel. Just as it is between Ben and Ames right now. The F1 is hidden and the F4 does not have much to show. Until the F4 is eliminated, I cannot confirm that the F4 really has nothing going for them to show.

Last season in the last week after RS changed his story, some decided that Brad must have changed his mind later. The edit is done usually after the FRC so by that time, tptb know where the contestants place and how they are going to be portrayed. Brad fancied Emily from date one, and from Bentley, Ashley has chosen someone and has not changed her choice. She has started to keep a journal (to show to him).

Trying to fit an F3 into an F1 or F2 position will give us a weird edit. Confusing. the edit is what it is and some of us have used the same edit to pick JP as F2 very early in this season. If we try to push a square box into a round one it will feel wonder and terrible. Maybe there is something wrong about the values being given to people or situations to result in terrible edits. This season, we have a classic straight forward edit again.

Emily's spot coming out of the limo is not designated to F1's. F1s have exited the limo at varying positions.
Episode 3, Ashley is very in love with Bentley. Episode 3 is not the designated F1 date episode. F1s have had dates not only on episode 3.
If we listen to Ashley, during her date with JP, she was not interested in him.
Ben is not getting the respected F2 edit because JP IS getting it as he is F2. Ben is getting the F1 edit. So no lamentations for Ben not getting the kissing, in your face hot for you edit because he is not F2.

TPTB have edited the show normally. It is our interpretation of it that makes the difference..

That just makes me think that he had to wait later in the day for his turn at the FRC.
They wake them up early, do PI's, etc. Then they get ready and wait around until it's their turn.

I know they almost don't look real. Its funny how dark his face looks compared to his neck. Is it possible TPTB "added" some scruff to make us think it might be Ryan?
