What we know for sure is that Des and Chris are getting married in California in January.

This is awesome! Looking at how beautiful was the engagement party, I can only image the wedding

Molly Mesnick says she is going to Des's bachelorette party this weekend and that Jason is going to Chris's in a couple of weeks. (they tried to dance around it so they didn't give away the surprises of the two parties) but is at the end of their podcast.

But with the Holidays coming up, I wonder if they went ahead and wanted to get it over with? Especially if it is an early January wedding.

As I recall, ABC has first right of refusal to televise Des' wedding. Thus, even if ABC takes a pass (if to put trust into the word of a half-bit gossip columnist), there must be other broadcast opportunities. Just saying...

Seattle wedding planners wouldn't be putting on an ABC televised wedding, so it looks like Steve was right. (I personally don't think Chris and Des would've declined a TV wedding but I suppose if you do then RS was wrong  ) I don't think they're airing it on any network personally.

Especially considering her friends at WeddingPR (they threw her shower) are helping her plan. It feels like it'll be private and intimate. I'm assuming they will sell their pics or give rights to a magazine.

Why do they need a wedding PR consultant? I noticed on her Twitter feed last week that she went to Cali to see her. I guess making connnections doesn't hurt when you're a wedding dress designer.
