Me too. I have no problem admitting, I'm not a Liberal but I do like to hear what everyone has to say. They are all making me crazy. JT is the worse, how much money is being spent on his ads? I can just imagine.

In the meantime, the Liberals are holding back announcing tolls on HOV lanes in order to prevent hurting JT's chances. They are all nuts IMO.

I'm glad to see the increased fines are finally coming into effect!

Distracted driving: If you’re caught looking at your phone, texting or talking on your phone while driving, you will face much bigger fines and more demerit points, the province is warning. The current fine for distracted driving is approximately $200. As of Tuesday, those found guilty of distracted driving will face fines up to $1,000 and more demerit points. Drivers with G1 or G2 licenses could have their permits suspended on the spot.

This isn't a problem in my area. Drivers always do this, as well as stop for funerals or pull over for emergency vehicles.

The “move over” law: As for Sept. 1, drivers will be require to slow down and move into the next lane whenever they see a stopped emergency vehicle with its red and blue lights flashing. This will apply to stopped tow trucks that have amber lights flashing. The fine for breaking these rules will be $490 and three demerit points.

Going to soak up this beautiful east coast weather and holiday and then will be off to the shore for my vacay to enjoy some projected beautiful weather there.

Have fun, Kasha! We're staying close to home this weekend. Will be going to a potluck dinner with a beach/luau theme so am making a Piña Colada cake. I got the recipe from Shawn's sister, Shay's blog (Mix and Match Mama). I've tried several of her recipes and they've all been good so far.
