There was outrage when the dollar was at par and books and magazines were one of the top items of price gouging. It's been this way for as long as I can remember, and Canadians are so polite, they just accept it, me included. But when the Cdn dollar was at par, consumer advocates did try to do something about it.

So why are the prices so much higher at Canadian Target?
Maybe it a reverse of why USA pays a higher price for the same medicine sold in Canada? Crazy.

Since when do they name winter storms? Apparently this is the 3rd year. Linus is coming tomorrow afternoon, up to a foot if not more of snow.

All I can say is it better be a good one, good enough to stay home Monday morning. Since we have awesome city crews who do a fantastic job snow ploughing the roads, I'm sure it will be all nice and clean for the morning work drive.   I should have gone to Tampa to find myself pirate guy!
