DWTS Season 19 - Premiere September 15 2014 - Discussion - *Spoilers*

1) Maks and Meryl WILL Return: Give yourself a moment to rejoice, M&M shippers! The DWTS Season 18 winners will be in attendance tonight, along with Meryl’s Olympic partner Charlie White (who’s gotten engaged and chopped off his fluffy locks since the finale). While Maks and Meryl won’t be dancing (at least that’s what I’ve been told), they will be there to kick off the new season, along with fan favorites Amy Purdy, Danica McKellar, and more. I get the feeling that the producers would like Maks and Meryl to return to the dance floor for an encore at some point this season, but don’t expect that right away—there’s not enough time in the early weeks and the producers want to work on the new partnerships first.

The camera has panned Lolo Jones several times and she has looked super pissed. That kind of attitude will get her voted off soon.

I spoke too soon. Alfonso is most definitely the front runner. My faves tonite were Randy Coutoure, Leah, Janel, and of course Alfonso. Love some pleasant surprises.

We noticed Lolo too, she needs to lighten up, she should take some pointers from Meryl.

Can't believe Betsey was doing the splits, she's 72, that's amazing! Still wish Derek would've gotten her.

Safron-your favs all did good. I'll include Jonathan & Sadie. Plus I enjoyed Tommy surprisingly, great intro to that dance. Really liked Randy too, something about him, have to agree with Carrie Ann's comments!

Does it seem like they cast more older 'stars' than usual? 2-70s, 4-50s

I'm really enjoying this cast. What a bunch of characters, and some really good dancers.
