Yes, thanks, that was the name. While those rings were large and fancy, they weren't quite as over the top as the ones from NL, IMO. Years have passed since this show began, and from what I've seen IRL engagement rings just keep getting bigger and bigger in general. My ring, which at the time was the standard size, is now dwarfed by today's size standard. I know it is all about product advertisement, but if it were me getting the NL ring, I would ask to trade it in for a much smaller and simpler ring and ask for the difference in price to be given to me in cash (for a down payment on a house). LOL How do you think that would go over with them?

It's a very pretty ring, but maybe not so practical. I actually love Des's ring because of the rose gold.
Anyway, here's a more palatable solution Mia. (palatable to Neil).  Ask for a three stone ring.  Sell the huge , middle stone, and one of the 2  side stones,  after the wedding. What they dont know cant hurt them.  Use the second side stone as your more average size engagement ring center stone diamond and also buy the house.  win/win.

The current lines by Tacori are pretty overdone, too, in my opinion. They used to have prettier rings, IMHO. I guess it is a fashion thing.

I love my simple solitaire. My husband gave it to me expecting I would choose a setting for it myself but once it was on my finger I loved it too much exactly the way it was. I did get my wedding band custom made, though.

Listened to Jason and Molly's podcast.

They mention that Lacy and Marcus had their own little bunkie or bed area, they made for themselves. Jason says they spent 20 times more time together than Jason and Molly. They know way more about each other than any Bach couple. Molly says both Marcus and Lacy have piercing blue eyes. They are both gorgeous, and TV doesn't do them justice.

They talk about the proposal and how it went down. It's pretty good.

I also liked when they said “Lacy came off on the show a little bit ditzy at times, but she never seemed like that at all when we met her. She seemed really sweet, very sincere – and loved Marcus’ chest hair haha”.

That’s how I felt watching the show. I get that the creative use of a certain expression and mispronouncing the Greek name of some random geological formation makes her an easy target for the Internet jokers.
However, when you actually listen to her and see her interact with the rest of the cast she seems really genuine and normal, with a good personality and some common sense. Remember how she fearlessly looked into AshLee’s crazy eyes and told her that she was out of line regarding Clare and the ocean incident.

Lacy is successfully running her own business, she is smart. Also, Marcus said that she asked him good questions, we didn't see that. Edit made it look like all their conversations were about telling each other how they feel, but I think they had a lot of serious conversation that we didn't see. That's why they were able to reach the engagement stage. Bach franchise is doing very good, I must say.

I prefer Lacy's ring because I think Andi's is way too big but wouldn't wear either of those rings for normal life. I have a much smaller ring and got a wide wedding band to wear to work or on vacation. It's not practical if you have to wash your hands or use Purel like I do. My SIL was given a family ring from her husband for her engagement ring. It was quite an expensive (gorgeous) ring and she was put out that she had to pay for insurance for it.   The rings on the show now must cost a pretty penny to insure.
