Not only you. I guess they went through all the trouble with a smokescreen, believing everyone was going to see a love story with JP and Ashley, because there's no way they can hide it if they wanted, even with editing, which by the way I haven't seen yet. I see a girl pressing her way through a bad situation, trying to have something with the next best thing (at least in her mind) because Fliess won't let her walk away empty-handed.

Really? I thought JP came across as a petulant child last night. Apparently he doesn't understand the concept of the show. I can understand not wanting to see Ashley kissing someone but he was so OTT with the F bombs and seething when Ben wasn't back yet.




I guess you didn't see all of Ben & Ashley's kisses. Looks to me like he's got 2 hands on her. I also think it's adorable that Ashley stands on something to kiss Ben. Looks like she wants to get as close as possible. :awesome:

That is how I feel..I think Ashley enjoyed this date the most of this week..Thanks for posting these..just so darn cute..I enjoyed seeing Ashley actually laughing having a good time..

Do you think they give Ashley a little apple box to stand on when she's with Ben? That would be so cute -- "Umm, Ashley, here's your outfit for today. And here's your apple box."

Exactly that!! Remember the little picnic they had, all of the extra time they spent together at the racetrack, telling Em that she would be getting a rose and to prepare for HTD ... there were a couple more I'm sure but these 2 stick out the most. Brad went way above and beyond for her! Em was obvious (and I was a Chantal lover)!!

Well hmm... maybe I need to go back and rewatch... I definitely missed these, ooops But the one with Ash in green does not ring a bell. Was this actually shown last night? And like I initially said ... I reserve the right to change my mind.

Definitely agree again. William said he thinks JP is the one because he could tell by the way they looked at each other that they were in love. They can't be in the same camera shot without some kind of interaction being picked up. They can't show too much alone time of them because they are in each other's personal space. I'm not sure how long she really obsessed over whatever it was with Bentley but it certainly didn't stop her from steaming up the lenses with JP. She may not have been open to all of the guys (and which lead ever is?) but she certainly didn't turn down anything JP had to offer. I don't think we know the half of what went on in Hong Kong but it certainly left him totally defenseless. Talk about "man down!" Gees!

For JP to say that the relationship was taken to a new level in HK, we were not privy to a lot of stuff. Many people are saying that JP being so jealous is juvenile but we have no idea what exactly happened in HK to make him feel so "proprietary" about his relationship with Ashley.

Proprietary is a good word. There was definitely a shift in his eyes and maybe it was just the escalated intimacy or the fact that he'd totally opened up to her or that he admitted to himself that he was in love with her. He must have told her something because when he was telling her about his week, he said "... but when you feel this way about somebody, that changes everything ..." she knew what he was talking about. He must have told her something we aren't privy to? Normally, but not always, the big declarations come on the FD but since he cannot seem to hold much in, he might have told her how he felt already and she may have responded positively w/o really replying back. In his PI he said he was "emotionally attached" which somehow sounds stronger than "emotionally invested." A week is a long time to go without seeing or talking to that person and not getting any kind of reassurance after a night like that. How would that go over in real life? Probably not too well. He's still got to make it through the separations during the HTDs and the FDs and that will be hard because he won't even have anyone to interact with. His mind is going to wander all over the place not knowing if she likes someone else's family better or if someone else steals her heart or if her feelings for him change. He's going to wonder if what happens on his fantasy date happens on other fantasy dates ... It's easy for us to say he needs to suck it up but with him being in the midst of it, I'm sure its much harder than he ever thought.

As far as Ben, I saw them kiss and just wasn't moved. She's all over him but he's still too timid with her IMO. I did wonder what she was standing on to kiss him. That was cute. They are cute and I think he's a catch but I think Ashley is going to need him to be a bit more forceful in his technique without being hard and aggressive (like Ryan's kiss was in my eyes).

I'd go out with JP in a heartbeat if I didn't already have a great guy. He handled it all with maturity and calmness. Addressed the issues and got rewarded with passionate kisses and a rose. Ashley has said it showed strength and sincerity :D

Hey! Everybody here likes Benny Boy too! Maybe not for Ashley... but we are all banking on a brunette with "things going on" waiting in the wings for him.

No, we don't see all of the heat without the aid of those burning flames nearby. I do see here... to be perfectly frank... a certain "line" these two don't cross. Ben was quick on the trigger stating "We did not share a room" when Jordan left the room. Jordan wasn't as upset at Ben as much as he was upset at the "idea" of not knowing... the whole mindf***. Now, I don't know how far he "falls for her" or how dramatic things get in the finale... will he be crying as much as Ryan? When he's crying in the hometown previews, it looks like he's thinking of his dad rather than Ashley.

This relationship reminds me of Trista and Charlie. They were great friends who somehow knew something was "off" but had to continue this for the show. However, Charlie was still somewhat shocked getting dumped... didn't he compare the experience to being hit by a bus? Obviously he got caught up in the moment... and, maybe, like Ben thought there was still a chance she and the other would have a "lovers quarrel" that would end abruptly, giving him a second chance. Heck, EVERYBODY on this show is banking on the unexpected... like... another Bentley departure?

At this point, I have no clue what will happen. I think Ashley is crying in the previews because she really, really, really likes Ben so much and can't deal with seeing him hurt. It is the show that is unfair... not anything somebody does. Yes, I could be wrong here. I just think, thanks to Fleissenstein, that the FRC hints at all of this "chase-after" drama that probably won't happen. If she can cry over dumping Ryan and Lucas... and Ames probably... maybe Dino too, I can certainly see her upset dumping Ben... like Dorothy Judy Garland saying to Scarecrow Ray Bolger: "I think I'll miss you most of all..."

serious anger and jealousy issues? I sure didn't see that! now, if we would have seen him grabbing Ben by the neck and throw him up against the wall ... then I might agree. All I saw was a guy who didn't want to see the girl he likes with another guy, I'm not seeing a problem here. Maybe it just seems extreme cause the other guys don't seem to really care and show little to no emoiton... yep, that must be it.
