The only thing I remember about his mood was this:

JP was in a foul mood all week and being put on the group date only made it worse. It’s not that he’s necessarily insecure but it’s tough for these guys who care for Ashley at this point to have to watch her date the other guys.

I think all I have ever said with regards to JP's attitude is that it was pretty childish, he did shoot daggers in his look to Ben, and his attitude is well known with the guys as all 3 that were there in the room, Lucas, Ames and Ryan all remarked that he has gone into his dark side and that he's not handling things well. And Lucas speaks only for Lucas. He apparently had a problem with JP, but until I hear the other guys confirm it, this is not a fact, merely Lucas' spin on things.

Also, don't turn around too quickly or you might trip over the pedestal that Ben's fans have him on. :winkie:

I finally caught up on the last several pages and noticed there where a lot of comments about lack of chemistry with Ben and pecks instead of what's with JP so I actually went back and watched JP & Ashley's date in Hong Kong and forced myself to watch every kiss (can't believe I did this, good thing dh is upstairs ). I noticed something that I read about their kisses and it's true. They're still single kisses or pecks but right after a kiss Ashley turns her head to the side and kisses JP beside the mouth. It's the strangest thing. Even the end of the date you could tell she was doing it when it appeared they were longer kisses. So if that's what Ben (if f1) is supposed to be jealous about I think he'll be just fine. :Nod:

Some positives for Ben from this episode were:

- the love talk starting with Ashley saying "I love Ben" in the beginning of the show. Probably more of a casual comment but seemed to the their theme for that date. Ben talked about the "L word" and falling in love with Ashley and then Ashley said he might be falling in love with Ben. She even talked about the things she loved about Ben in her blog. Maybe a clue on the outcome?

- the bracelets. I thought it was very sweet that they wore the bracelets they got together in Chaing Mai. Obviously they mean something to them. It certainly could be a clue if they show up again and it's not a Ben date. Ashley did wear hers once more on the group fight date.

- It was a very long date so lots of time to talk and just be together. That's a real positive on this show. I know Ashley doesn't have the final choice on who goes on dates but the producers do so why did they pick Ben? Maybe some of it was to be a poke at JP but did they know then they'd be using a jealousy edit for him? I just don't know but it's possible. Whatever the reason, it gave them a real chance to fall for each other. i love u

JP said he'd been in a bad mood once the dates started but he was also quiet and staying out of conversations. Childish or not, that's how he got through the week until he was able to talk to Ashley and let her know how he felt. Still not sure why he was having such a hard time taking the pictures given that he and Ashley had the best outfits, though. I would have thought that would have made him feel better but I guess not. LOL!

Or it's her way of keeping them from being intense. I can tell you I was expecting a lot more after people are raving about their chemistry. I see there is some but it's not nearly as much as earlier on imo. There are other reasons that I can understand that people think JP is the f1 but not that. YMMV

Wait, I don't know if this is a weird thing now but doesn't everyone love when you have a kiss and then the guy kisses your cheek/nose/forehead right afterwards? I thought it was normal! LOL. It's transferring the kiss from just sexual to something sweeter.

Either it's like Bloomers said and it's something the couple might be dealing with currently or TPTB might feel would end/or cause trouble in the relationship.... OR it''s like ironcat said and that there just really wasn't anything else to go with so they had to dramatize normal human emotion to the umpth degree in order to make a rather boring show entertaining.

I agree that JP would probably be completely crushed and I also agree that he would probably question her as Molly did Jason. I don't think he would really see that coming. Either way, with either guy it is going to be so sad to see their goodbye IMO.

Is this a question of hurting Ashley? Who gets hurt here? When you have to break up with someone, it makes you very uncomfortable, but it HURTS the other person. The rejected one is the one who gets hurt.

Now that said, I don't think the person walking off is thinking, "Let me HURT ASHLEY." I think it is a gut reaction to being rejected.

Next, now whether we ever see it on the show - whether it "makes the light of day" (love that one!), it obviously DID happen. We have seen the clip of someone leaving and Ashley running after him. There is virtually no denying that it happened regardless of whether they just tease us with this preview and then re-do the shot so that it is an ordinary FRC or not.

Somebody walked away, and Ashley ran after him - one of the final two guys, and it appears that it was done after she rejected him.

If I had to guess, somebody went after him, brought him back, Ashley said her spiel, she got to walk him to the limo where they drove him around until they got his heartbroken story out of him, and then he was through, but not before.
