Definitely agree again. William said he thinks JP is the one because he could tell by the way they looked at each other that they were in love. For JP to say that the relationship was taken to a new level in HK, we were not privy to a lot of stuff. Many people are saying that JP being so jealous is juvenile but we have no idea what exactly happened in HK to make him feel so "proprietary" about his relationship with Ashley.

I'm quite curious to know, especially since Ashley called it "wild."

We are being half-snarky here. Yet, it worked, didn't it?

I read thru this thread before I watched last nights episode and was expecting JP's jealousy to be horrible, but.... when I watched it I didn't quite get what everyone was harping on. IMO, it was almost hardly worth discussing. Hardly jealously, more hurt going on than anything.

Ben is so sweet but I noticed on their date when he was kissing Ash, it was all just little "pecks" and one arm/hand at all times was just hanging to the side or propped up on the bridge... he sure didn't seem totally invested (to me).

I think the clues all pointed to JP. Her "ILY" about Ben seemed just a friendly one. There certainly didn't seem to be any emotion behind it. At this point I name Jordan Paul F1. Of course, being a woman, my opinion is subject to change. :loveflower:

Totally agree too. They had to do the smokescreen to try and hide the real flames between her and her F1..and they resorted to overkill and it really hasn't worked out too well for TPTB.

Haven't posted at all this season but have enjoyed lurking (it's much more entertaining than Ashley's show!). But I totally agree that the overblown Bentley issue was what they concocted on the fly when they realized they had picked a Bette who (1) is not capable of hiding her true feelings (2) is not able to act interested in guys she isn't interested in and (3) fell in love with her F1 extremely early in the process. I don't agree that they chose Asia at the last minute but I do find this season's dates to be bland compared to others and, heck, they are in a beautiful part of the world so why couldn't they have done a better job?

I like Ashley and respect her intellect and drive. And I hope she's happy. Her season, however, is bland with little 'drama', lackluster dates and a lot of trumped up 'hype' to keep the viewing public watching.

But maybe when we finally get a real love story out of this franchise, we don't actually like it because it's too predictable

Really? I thought JP came across as a petulant child last night. Apparently he doesn't understand the concept of the show. I can understand not wanting to see Ashley kissing someone but he was so OTT with the F bombs and seething when Ben wasn't back yet.




I guess you didn't see all of Ben & Ashley's kisses. Looks to me like he's got 2 hands on her. I also think it's adorable that Ashley stands on something to kiss Ben. Looks like she wants to get as close as possible. :awesome:

I'm not trying to talk anyone into thinking it's not JP though. We all see things differently which is a good thing. :Nod:

Ali and Chris had some hot kissing too..even Ali laying on top of Chris on the boat and making out with him. Ali said it was always Roberto and wrote her journal so he could see after the show how she felt while with the other guys

Ashley said that she just started her journal like Ali did.

That is how I feel..I think Ashley enjoyed this date the most of this week..Thanks for posting these..just so darn cute..I enjoyed seeing Ashley actually laughing having a good time..

Proprietary is a good word. There was definitely a shift in his eyes and maybe it was just the escalated intimacy or the fact that he'd totally opened up to her or that he admitted to himself that he was in love with her. He must have told her something because when he was telling her about his week, he said "... but when you feel this way about somebody, that changes everything ..." she knew what he was talking about. He must have told her something we aren't privy to? Normally, but not always, the big declarations come on the FD but since he cannot seem to hold much in, he might have told her how he felt already and she may have responded positively w/o really replying back. In his PI he said he was "emotionally attached" which somehow sounds stronger than "emotionally invested." A week is a long time to go without seeing or talking to that person and not getting any kind of reassurance after a night like that. How would that go over in real life? Probably not too well. He's still got to make it through the separations during the HTDs and the FDs and that will be hard because he won't even have anyone to interact with. His mind is going to wander all over the place not knowing if she likes someone else's family better or if someone else steals her heart or if her feelings for him change. He's going to wonder if what happens on his fantasy date happens on other fantasy dates ... It's easy for us to say he needs to suck it up but with him being in the midst of it, I'm sure its much harder than he ever thought.

As far as Ben, I saw them kiss and just wasn't moved. She's all over him but he's still too timid with her IMO. I did wonder what she was standing on to kiss him. That was cute. They are cute and I think he's a catch but I think Ashley is going to need him to be a bit more forceful in his technique without being hard and aggressive (like Ryan's kiss was in my eyes).
