The way Ben tweets on Twitter, if I were Ashley and he were my F1, I'd be mad giggling

That's another clue that points to Ben being F2.

Honestly, given the body language I've seen, it's going to be the FD or LCD before we may see passion from Ben. I think Ashley sees JP as being out of her league much the way Ali tried to talk herself out of Roberto by fixating on Frank who was her 'type' like Ben and Constantine are her 'physical type'. For as understanding JP has been with her and as much as she raves about his kisses, she was still questioning his sincerity. She's scared he's going to leave whereas right off the bat she felt Ben 'liked' her (funny he's the one who now has conditions on whether he could really love her unless his family does). Ashley's fear of JP leaving her would be why she didn't choose him. Whenever you meet someone and can't understand why they are single because you think they are great, what you are really saying is that "you're so great you could have anybody. why would you want me?"

The odds of thing working out no matter who she chooses are slim. However, if she has to choose something that may not work, I'd rather her go for the passion/sex. She can marry someone 'comfortable' later ... LOL!

I'll give you that she probably does choose passion. But, on the other hand with Ben. I watched the video where he talks of his family to her. He also states in the next breath, that with the way he has talked about her, he sees no reason that his family would not like her.

I also don't think what he says is unreasonable. I've heard lots of bachelorette contestants say they would have to get along with family. If you stay with someone any length of time......you marry the family too.

I like both Ben and JP......and she probably will pick JP. Which is fine. But, I try, for the sake of fairness, to at least include both possibilities. Since the two will feature prominently.....I feel like they should both be given equal consideration.

Great post. Love the idea of a neutral zone idea so both guys can be considered equally. Sure would make things easier around here

I like both as well tho I somewhat favor Ben. But I also see the difficulty being a Ben fan here as has been pointed out by some here.

Thank you.....I also tend to favor Ben. They are both great guys. I just like the way she is with Ben. They can be serious, but then also carefree. She said in one of her interviews that she would like someone who could be fun and goofy, but knows when to be serious. Ben just seems to fit that. I realize the show is said and done, but until the FRC or someone spoils it.....I'll just hold out hope til the end. I'm hoping they get their fairytale, if not I'm sure she'll be fine either way!!

I don't think JP would be the Bach if he is not F1. The main point (in my eyes) of his tantrum last episode was how much the show and it's productions are a mindf*ck. I don't think he would be so eager to sign on the dotted line after voicing that in private interviews and to Ashley. Also, I hope he (and Ben too since he is a seemingly nice guy) would realize that these producers are out for ratings and could care less about characterization. They may even go down the road of throwing their lead under the bus again. Ashley's F2 whoever it may be does not need to go on The Bachelor to find someone but if he wants to for the fun and adventure then he will do it.

Ben fans, I'm sorry read that some of you feel that it's hard to post with all the Jash love. I was on the minority train last 2 seasons at FORT, so I understand how you all feel. But I never stopped posting laugh out loud

I think the majority of JP fans here have been respectful and hope you all continue to post. I love reading all the diverse opinions. :D :hug:

I love the way Ash is with JP. Reminds me of Aliberto. So I would love a Jash twirl on finale night. But I do see something sweet between Benny and Ash as well, so I won't be disappointed if we get a Bash ending. Either way it will be a great finale imo.
I also think both guys are awesome and either one as the next bachelor would be awesome. :db: :happybear:

Wow, he re-tweeted a negative article about Ashley? Do we know for sure it is his twitter account? I cannot imagine a loving F1 doing that. Just weird.

Yep, that's his real twitter account. He mainly uses it for work but he also tweets some personal things as well sometimes.

People keep talking about red flags. I like Ben but I see a couple with him.
Something about the way he wants to dole out the l-bomb bugged me. It's okay if you aren't ready to say it but don't tell me you are almost ready to say it but he wants to wait until after hometowns. Then on hometowns, he has to see if his family likes her first. I understand the family stuff but that cannot determine whether you love someone. He can love her and choose not to be with her because of his family. I know he doesn't want to lose 'control' but that 'you've got me where you want me' line didn't work for me either. How are you going to draw someone in and dole out the the I love you's based on conditions?

I understand that he's been in a bad place for a few years but there is a thin line between caution and control ... I think he's still too scared and handling it in a different way than JP is handling it.
