Seriously! I can't see JP taking it quietly (finding out he's F2). I'm picturing how Molly took it...didn't she tell Jason he's making a big mistake? I can imagine JP getting upset and saying something like that.

I enjoyed Peter Pan William. I also enjoyed the beautiful, realistic, frank Mickey who called it like he saw it, and then took her bluff to her dismay. Who would have thought the dentist would have been such a girl about things? :laughingoutlou Also, we have never seen any bachelor, let alone an F3 be an nonchalant as Dino has been. Also, while it may "ruin" Ashley's big day, if Ben walks away after she rejects him, I am so looking forward to that because that is so credibly realistic. We have seen signs in seasons before where the F2 realizes in a lightbulb moment that they have been played - led on and deceived ( whether the show calls for it or not which doesn't matter to the F2), and they get angry and not hurt in that moment.
If he walks away, she really has it coming! That is realistic in my opinion because he will have come to the realization on the spot that he was deceived up to that moment by everything she had said and done.

I guess I don't have the 'punish the lead' mentality. I think Ashley called Mickey's bluff. He'd been frustrated over Ryan getting a rose and, really, her having connections with other guys and not him. He was grandstanding, called her a liar and asked her not to give him a rose. Even CH says he doesn't think that Mickey meant to go home but he painted himself into a corner. The Ashley that told Brad she wasn't going to beg him to stay, told Mickey to leave like a man if he so chose! He didn't have a choice but to "exit stage right" at that point.

I loved the William date. I watched it a second time and it really made me laugh. William is just no where near ready for prime time. He's a fun/funny guy. Maybe he'll get it together after being through this - if he doesn't kill himself in the meantime.

I don't think Ashley is particularly interested in Dino. He's cute to her but intellectually he seems about one step up from being a knuckle dragger. I think he is a filler in her eyes as is Ames.

I think we're seeing that Ben isn't picking up on how deep things are between Ashley and JP. He's been teasing him. He thought Lucas would get a rose over him. He was pretty confident he was getting an HTD. I don't think he saw JP as threatening as JP saw him to be. I think that he'll let go and then when he doesn't get chosen, bolt! I think Ashley might be one of the first to really have strong feelings for both at the very end though her chemical attraction to JP is what is going to seal it in the end as having a strong physical connection is really important to her. These shows mandate that you lead people on. Even Ali said that you kinda have to let the guys kiss you or they will think that you don't like them. You have to play along. Ben will feel played and led on but most F2s do or they didn't pick up on the differences between their relationship and the others. JP seems very in tune to who his competition is. He was GLAD to see Lucas gone even though I don't think he was as big of a threat, except for in the masculine energy dept, as JP feared. He said "I know what we have is real" but that doesn't stop his doubts from entering the picture. I think that Ben isn't quite feeling the threat of anyone for some reason - especially now that Ryan is gone. They were all so afraid of Ryan when he was such a non-factor all along. LOL!

I don't know - maybe it's just me but I found Peter Pan's story and the way it was presented boring - he came across as whiny...same with Mickey and how they presented him - he came across as nonchalant... And to me Contastine's nonchalance could have been presented in a way that we can connect to it (or our own experiences) My biggest issue is with the edit. They overblew some of the Bent stuff that the rest of this season's stories became this huge hockus pockus without real humanity and relatability... As a TV show I didn't connect with most of the characters in a human level... frankly, they're all kind of annoying to me in varying degrees this season

Ashley is intrigued by Dino, but he couldn't be more indifferent if he tried. In fact, he may have been told by TPTB he needs to kiss Ashley on his last date. He's not "trying to win", in fact it's the opposite. I think by FD's he just says that if she's not sending him home, he'll find a way to leave ~ and he does. He's not mean, but there's only so much pretending he'll do, and that's refreshing!

If Ben walks away from the podium at F2, he'll likely be doing something most other F2's wished they could've done b/c I too agree that there must be a feeling of instant anger, regardless of what they've signed up for. Some F2's ~ and F3's for that matter ~ are led on more than others and certain "events" may lead them to believe they are the one (Reid comes to mind). So to be told at the podium that the lead is in love with someone else has to sting, if even only a little.

I also agree that Ashley is far from being settled. There isn't much that requires more commitment than her pursuit of dentistry. She's opted to put that commitment on hold not once, but twice. I am not condemning her, as these opportunities (TB & B'ette) are unique and have a shelf life. I'm not convinced her motivation for doing either of these shows was to find a husband, but that's not something we'll ever know for certain.

I agree. I think if Ben walks way it's beacuse he just was heartbroken and hurt. I don't see him getting angry at Ashley.

Don't forget, many predicted Chantal to be an emotional lunatic, blubbering all over Brad and throwing a hissy fit...she exited gracefully, feathers and all!

she did - which reminds me of Chelsea gunning for Matt's throat (verbally) and calling Shayne the falsest person....it really was spectacular. Bevin was shell-shocked and didn't utter a word. Sadie was truly a lady and understood PLos heart was somewhere else and she wanted him to be happy.

Speaking of Ryan - did you see that shiteating grin JP couldn't wipe off his face when Ryan said he was leaving? It was in the deleted scenes, if you care to have a looksee.
