You know how guys are, they will be best friends next episode at the RC.

You know, that got me to thinking. Is it worse for the guys to watch Ash going out with each other and then seeing the guys come home and listen to him rave about his date OR is it worse to not see anyone else till the RC and have to wonder about how things are going?

I think its easier for the guys to focus on their relationship with Ash when they don't see the other guys. JP said he didn't tell what went on during the dates and to be honest the guys that did tell what went on were emblishing it a bit, don't you think.

If you watched the deleted scene on the ABC website, it's of the guys talking before Ryan comes back to the suite and tells them he's leaving. Before he arrives, they're talking about how they expect his date is going, and JP mentions that Ryan is sure to say it was fantastic and he and Ashley have the most amazing chemistry. So yeah, the guys who talk are probably the ones who are going to embellish, because they are probably also the ones who are treating the whole thing more like a competition. The ones who keep mum (JP and Ben) are the ones who are more interested in Ash. The exception is probably Ryan, though, who just was clueless about Ashley's lack of real interest in him.

Come on folks, we all know that this show is a complete "mindfuck" by now.

I wouldn't be surprised if a producer told Dino to egg JP on in order to get the response we saw because it fit into the "storyline" they're telling for him.

JP is getting the Roberto storyline - brutally hot guy, maybe a playa playa, physical chemistry with the lead but is it real?

Ben is getting the Chris L storyline - cute, sweet guy, lost a parent, focusing on business, trying to find love but afraid.

Bentley = Frank but on steriods.

ETA...funny Ry. Like when JP put her on his shoulders in the pool when all the guys were there. So he could carry her there too. :giggle:

That whole wedding picture date was brutal on all of the guys this late in the game. NONE of them was happy. I think Lucas was more irritated by wearing the 'dress' or 'long shirt' but Ames clearly wasn't happy about the kissing. Ames and Lucas both seemed to enjoy JP kinda freaking out during his photo shoot. He was really uncomfortable. Both he and Ashley seemed to be afraid of looking at each other as I think it was too real. He was beyond nervous. I know he was still upset about Ben but I don't think he was so mad that he didn't want to take pictures. I think he was embarrassed to be taking the pictures in front of the crowd and afraid of looking too 'in love' if he played along with it.

Yeah, you could tell they were both feeling very vulnerable. It would have been better if they made the waiting guys sit in another room, watching it on a monitor or something. I know that even for my REAL wedding pictures, I felt so awkward posing in front of my wedding party. It's just weird to have people sitting there watching you! :giggle:

The producers are total instigators but I think the guys just enjoy going at him. I'm still curious as to why BenF thought Lucas would get the rose and not JP. Did they think he would be 'pouting' on the date? Did Lucas exaggerate his date w/Ashley while JP remained mum after his VERY passionate evening? There was another deleted scene early on where Blake was saying that he thought that Ryan was exaggerating / misreading the connection. It's on Hulu. I don't know if it's on ABC. I wonder if Blake and Mickey feel bad now seeing that Ashley eventually got rid of Ryan and might have gotten rid of him sooner had they not behaved so badly over the Bentley thing (when they were really the most pissed about Ryan getting that rose).

TOTALLY, totally.
My nonverbal facial expressions and hand gestures could get me locked up IF they were crimes. But they aren't. Looks--pfft.
Now if someone slashes my tires, carves their name into my leather seats or smacks me one upside the head, I would think they have anger issues.
