I read somewhere that he was a HS Varsity lacrosse player. He also seemed to know what he was doing in the boxing. I suspect he's pretty athletic. And while he's smaller than the other guys, and maybe the guys Ashley typically prefers, he isn't a shrimp; he's probably of average height for a man.

This is my problem with their so called "romantic heat" every kiss is a peck and after every peck Ash pulls away. Sure she goes back in but just for more pecks. It's really weird.

With Dino all they did was stand in the same place... neither of them moved their hands or their mouths. It was like a pose. Again really weird.

I will change my opinion when I see her actually open mouth kiss one of these guys like she did o the beach with JP... but maybe I am just drinking the kool aid or snorting frosting.

I've been wrong before about the ending so if I am wrong this season oh well... I enjoyed watching Jash and their magical kisses.

I totally agree. Those woodpecker kisses have got to go. Really? That's all you've got? I'd be bored out of my mind! She got more action from Ames and Lucas! LOL! I really expected to see something more from Ben on this last date. He still acts as though he's afraid to touch her. I think he really likes her but he's still afraid to let go or something. I think we're missing something about this emotional zombie business and how big of a deal it is. I'm sure he would like to find someone and this experience has definitely shown him that he's ready to get out there but I'm not sure if he's ready to make a commitment of that nature to Ashley when he's basically been hiding out for 4 years. He's such a sweet, sensitive guy who seems to be in touch with his feelings. He was very honest with Ashley about what he was feeling and while she was listening attentively, her eyes weren't sparkling the way they do when she's listening to/watching JP talk.

I always felt that she was getting a F2 edit in order to trick the viewers into believing Brad would leave empty handed. Yes, they provided us with clues as to why they prolly wouldn't work in the real world, but I don't think her entire edit revolved around that.

Also keep in mind that men and women are different when it comes to separating physical intimacy from emotional intimacy. Men have no problem "having the hots" for one woman, while viewing another one as spouse material. For a woman, one feeling is more wrapped up in the other. That's why several Bachelorettes have picked the guy they had more physical chemistry with, while very few Bachelors have done the same.

I think the biggest problem that many of us had believing that Emily was F1, was not that Brad was into Emily - that much was obvious as he was like a schoolboy around her - but we couldn't see Emily into Brad. For me, it was that simple. I did see MUTUAL attraction with Brad and Chantal but not with Brad and Emily. I personally think that production was preparing the audience for what they believed was to come, a rocky relationship that would end with Emily breaking up with Brad. I don't want to start an argument here, as I'm soooo over them, but am just explaining why I think there are different reasons for why a person gets a certain edit.

Looking past the edit, all I saw was Chantal being very aggressive/emotional and Brad being a tin man ... with all of the women including Emily. He may have stared Emily down because she looked like one of Hef's (Holly Madison) but he really was a stiff as cardboard his whole season. The only time he even seemed halfway human to me was when he was on the date w/Shawntel and he was so tickled by her mortuary stories. I didn't know he could laugh that hard.

Brad's behavior with Emily was weird. One example was when he was 'scared' to kiss her at her house because Ricki was upstairs. Emily was losing patience there and she told him 'Ricki is ALWAYS going to be upstairs.' How old was he? 16? Then, that whole edit where she asked him if he was ready to be a father and he got so flustered. It was a valid question and his response turned out to be exactly part of their problem AND it appeared that he didn't understand why she just couldn't drop everything and take a trip on a day's notice.

I don't look for who it's going to work with given my limited opinion. I go by who I see the person liking the most - beyond the edit. The Bachelors rarely seem to go with who they really like. They seem to try to go with the 'good on paper solution' then end up trying to call the F2,3,4 after the show. Alex did it first with Trista. He pulled a Bentley on her and asked if he could call her if it didn't work out with Amanda after he'd lied and said he was going to pick her then didn't. I knew Tessa wasn't nearly as into Andy as he was into her but he was one of the first guys I remember picking the person he really liked and not who he thought other people thought was best or who he thought he should pick for some reason other than he liked them best. I try not to pick for the guys because they don't tend to follow the way their heart looks on TV to me. They choose with one of their brains (i.e. Brad w/Emily (pants) and Jason w/Melissa (head)).

Ironcat...you are so right....excellent point...with "most" females there needs to be an emotional/trust established that will allow the physical to bloom!

I agree and have said as much before, the average guy has no problem with physical chemistry when they're not attached emotionally, but once the average woman commits to physical chemistry, she's attached emotionally too. (I knew there was nothing average about or dear sweet Jilly Bean )

You should see the way I'm looking at some of these ridiculous comments. He has nothing on me. Talk about beating a dead horse on here. jeez a whiz. Looks don't hurt, but words and actions do. JP didn't hurt anyone and yes, I'd date him in a minute if I didn't have a boyfriend. I'm over this discussion, carry on
